    What a gem!

    I have visited Amsterdam several times, but I have usually had to stay outside of the city due to the high cost of accommodations. Finally, I have found the place I will return to and recommend to friends and family. This B&B is a great alternative to pricey hotels. The hostess is very friendly and knowledgeable of Amsterdam attractions, both the classic tourist stops and the local favorites. Most importantly, the apartment is clean, well-furnished, and very sunny. Definitely worth every penny!

    I enjoyed my stay at the Adam 50 quite a lot, everything exceeded my expectations, especially regarding the hygiene and location.

    Such a nice place, and right smack in the middle of all of those lovely art galleries. and theatre, concerts, gourmet dining, just around the corner. Also great tips from the local host!

    This little B&B is wonderfully located in the middle of Amsterdam and is well priced for all that it's offering: - location: one of the most charming streets and in the middle of the city center, every main attraction is within walking distance - spacious: it's really big and offers place up to 4 persons. - nicely decorated: the owner paid attention to every detail - roof terrace!! It has a really big roof terrace where you can - kitchen to make your own meals and breakfast (breakfast is optional, we didn't take it and made our own breakfast in the kitchen every morning) - lovely hostess: the hostess is the most wonderful person ever and likes to drink a glass of wine with you!

    Roof top terrace in the city centre

    A quiet location right in the centre of Amsterdam - a perfect place to visit all the interesting locations in downtown Amsterdam. Narrow staircases but I guess that this is typical for these city houses. If you don't mind climbing a few more stairs, you have an unusual view on Amsterdam from the secluded roof top terrace - a great place to relax in this busy city.

    Fantastic apartment!

    Very cosy and very Dutch apartment! Especially liked the large roof-terrace. Amazing location, right in the center but away from the loud and busy tourist streets. Street is full of art galleries and antique stores, all of the major museums are within a 5 minutes walking distance. Can't wait to come again.

      It takes about 45 minutes to get from the airport to Adam 50 Bed & Breakfast: From the airport, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal (these trains take some 20 minutes and depart every 15 minutes). From Amsterdam Central Station, take trams 4, 16, 24 or 25. Get out at the stop ‘Keizersgracht’ (after about 10 minutes). In the direction of the tram, head right onto ‘Keizersgracht’. Take a left onto the first street you cross: The Nieuwe Spiegelstraat. Now find house-number 50: you’re there! Walking distance is about 5 minutes.
