    Outstanding value and delightful stay at Port City B&B

    Generous accomodations and gracious service are evident at Port City B&B, comfortably situated in a walkable historic district neighborhood, owned and operated by a Wilmington native. Breakfasts are a treat with a superfluity of food and pleasant conversation.

    Great place to stay in Wilmington

    This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast and the standards have definitely been set high. A historical house that is comfortable and clean, amazing food, great conversation, and amazing hospitality...I couldn't ask for anything better.

    Port City Gem

    It probably pays to visit Wilmington in the off-season, but the hospitality shown to us by proprietor Sophie Johnson was outstanding, and we enjoyed spaciousness of the large home, and the comfortable room and heated mattress. The home is a a leisurely walk from the historic downtown, and very accessible to the main roads that take you to the beaches and commercial districts. Sophie is an excellent cook, and we enjoyed fabulous breakfasts and even late afternoon snacks and drinks. Our visit was just perfect.

    Relaxing B&B (Great service)

    The hostess for the B&B was very welcoming and friendly. We will definately come back. The hostess did a great job of getting the different guests together and facilitating a conversation. In the end, we came out with good places to see and learning about other places to visit.

    Relaxing Weekend!

    Everything was perfect just what we needed for our getaway weekend. Sophie was very accommodating, she made us feel at home and told great stories! The room was also amazing along with the house everything was beautiful. The country food was great everything homemade I couldn't find room for it all! We will defnitley be back. Reshe Ibrahim

    What a wonderful weekend we had at this beautiful bed and breakfast! Sophie knows how to entertain her guests while allowing privacy. Very entertaining stories, relaxing evenings on the front porch, and amazing food!!! We definitely plan to return!!
