"As frequent travelers, we are very demanding of the places we select to stay. We are more than glad we decided staying here. Owners Reynaldo and Beatriz made sure we were nicely settled –in, by sharing the warmth and caring, paying attention to details, and treating us as part of family. It is a comfy residential unit walking distance to the main avenue in downtown Cancun. Its location makes it easy to access the hotel area, the downtown shopping & dining options, as well as getting to other areas such as the Riviera Maya sector. The highlight for us however, was our nice & spacious room with king-size bed, with its own bathroom, and included a basket of fresh fruit and distilled water. Remember we said detail… Owners not only received us, but entertained us explaining facts about the country, city, development, and culture – including sharing with us several local dishes… Breakfast was a star of its own the two mornings we were there. Beatriz would prepare everything fresh, before us: ranchero sauce, among other sauces, huevos estrellados, potatoes with some sort of delicious meat, different types of fresh fruit, coffee, juices… Well, get the message - these people went overboard! Once you try restaurants, you end up wishing Betty was cooking! Although traveling extensively, this is the first time we actually write a review. But it’s the least you’ll do once you stay there, so others can have the same experience when staying in Cancun. Rey & Betty are loving, respectable, humble persons to say the least.
