5 sur 5Perfect Bed and Breakfast
octobre 31, 2012
If you are visiting Laura Ingalls Wilder country, be sure to stay here overnight. The best part is that the main level coffee shop converts to exclusive use for guests after hours. Sit by the fireplace in winter and enjoy complimentary coffee/tea and homemade cookies, or go out on the deck area in warmer weather. Rooms are upstairs (except 1) and are private, and updated, and clean. I enjoyed meeting Connie and Mike!

After my sister lost her husband on May 10th, 2010, I decided to take her away to somewhere she has always wanted to visit, Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and Homestead. She had never stayed at a bed and breakfast so when you were recommended by a friend to stay there, we are very happy that we took her suggestion. The friendly staff was a breath of fresh air and very eager to please. It just so happened that the citys annual Independence Day celebration was going on. What a pleasant surprise! This made our stay even more interesting. Our room was very very clean and comfortable. I did not expect to sleep so well in a strange bed in a strange room but it was beyond my expectations! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience and memories for my sister and I to share.
4,8 sur 5Great Stay in the Ozarks
septembre 11, 2009
My wife, daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Weaver Inn for the Labor Day weekend in 2009. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the waffles. This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast and we were pleased to have all the amenities, especially cable TV. Mike and Connie Roberts are the perfect hosts. They go out of their way to see that you enjoy your stay and freely share their knowledge of the area. Weaver Inn is the ideal place to stay if you are exploring the sites of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s life in the Ozarks. The inn is right on Mansfield’s public square where there is a bust of Laura. Across the square is the historical museum with an abundance of artifacts from the area. The cemetery where the Wilders are buried is nearby and Laura’s home at the Rocky Ridge Farm is about a mile away. The house where she resided in town is right down the street. And, as a matter of fact, the Weaver Inn is on the site where Laura used to meet with fellow members of the Eastern Star. We had a wonderful stay in Mansfield thanks in large part to the Weaver Inn and Mike and Connie Roberts and their staff.
