    La salle de lord offre d'un milieu-1800 lit et bureau qui appartenait à grand-grands-parents de l'hôte, David et Hannah Lord.
    Le centre de la salle de billard et de divertissement est fourni avec la suite de billard au 3e étage.
    Une fenêtre gemmifer et vitraux d'origine est au cœur de la salle avant et l'escalier principal.
    Invités peuvent bénéficier de relaxation dans le 1er solarium au sol avec une balançoire doux.
    La bibliothèque a une sélection complète des romans et des livres de référence pour être population en face de la cheminée.
    Fonctions de chambre de la fille PIN boiseries et un sunroom lumineux.
    La suite de billard comprend une salle de bain privée avec baignoire surdimensionné et une douche.
    Étape vers le bas pour le grand jardin avec ses pergola koi d'étang et pool-côté. Il existe également un hot tub dans un kiosque privé.
    Mai fait ressortir l'iris voyantes et autres fleurs vivaces pour le jardin. Il existe de nombreux autres fleurs pour profiter tout au long de la saison de croissance.

    Construit en 1899, la maison est située au nord-est de vieux de Kansas City, un quartier KC Historic Landmarks. Également cotée national registre d'historique Homes, la maison a été entièrement restaurée avec câblage mis à jour, de plomberie, de chauffage et d'AC. C'est au pied du Kansas City Museum et Cliff Drive Scenic Byway.

    A lovely Stay in Kansas City Courtesy of our Gladstone Hosts

    We recently stayed a week at Gladstone Manor during a conference at the nearby Kansas City Convention Center. Although I was working that week, the time we spent at Gladstone Manor amounted to 7 days of refreshment. Our hosts, the Rogers, were thoughtful and accommodating to the end, even providing us one morning with coffee-to-go and a delicious pastry when we found ourselves running late. Our room was tidy with lovely appointments and a comfortable bed. Breakfast every morning was tasty and served in quiet elegance. The showers were hot and the towels invigorating. And the grounds surrounding the home were a bonus, along with a library of interesting volumes that included photos and Kansas City history. All this at an extraordinary value. There is so much to see and hear and do in Kansas and Gladstone B and B is a great place to find your rest in between.

    The Rogers, owners of this B&B, have a real treasure of a property on their hands! And the way they go out of their way for their guests proves they know it. Highly recommended.

    Too Much Like Home

    The home and grounds are lovely and the hosts are quite friendly. However, we were not comfortable at Gladstone Manor. Firstly, the location is in a deteriorating neighborhood which felt unsafe. Secondly, our room choice (the billiard's suite) displaced the hosts' adult son which made us feel like we were intruding. Thirdly, the furniture, furnishings, and linens were ordinary. Overall, we felt like we were staying at our great aunt's house rather than at a B&B.

    What a great place to stay

    The innkeepers Veda and Bruce, were wonderful and very down to earth, they made you feel right at home. We stayed in the Billard room and we wished we could have stayed longer then one night to enjoy all it had to offer. The breakfast was filling and very good. Check out the garden and the pond also it is beautiful abd peaceful. We will be back, it is the best kept secret in Kansas City.
