    Nice Getaway

    We went to Woodstock Inn to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was cute and the breakfasts were delicious, but was not as welcoming as other B&Bs we have stayed at. We had a nice weekend, but probably will not return.

    Okay, but nothing to rave over or send friends and family flocking to

    Adorable decor and very friendly owner. Breakfast was fine, one morning okay the next great, so it balanced out. Cleanliness was not up to par, bathroom drawers were dirty w/ toothpaste from previous people, no bags in trash cans so we felt bad throwing things away such as q-tips etc. Just not a clean feeling when in the room, but not a dirty feeling either. We may have expected hotel clealiness (we stay in 4stars normally) so it may have been unfair that we were judging it based upon our other experiences. We ended up having silverfish on our bedding the 1st day, wasn't a big deal to us because we understood older homes get these, but when it became more than a dozen and they were large we had to ask Pam to change our bedding, we felt it should have been done when we first found the issue, and once we did ask, we felt to be a bother to her as she complained of other problems going on and how she had many errands to still run. We explained we weren't gong to bed yet so we could wait, the owner got onto it right away w/ out any problems or complaints though. Just surprised at how the situation was dealt with, after it was dealt with there were still no apologies for the issue, though we did make it clear we understood older homes get them. I do think that if any other couple had been in there they would have left due to the issue, they were fortunate we didn't raise rukus after we spoke w/ some friends, they all said they would have left demanding $$ back. Overall, it was an okay stay, not horrible at all, but nothing to rave about or send friends and family rshing over to stay at either.

    We are very sorry to know that your staying at B&B was not at the level you desired. We are sorry because we really try to do the best we can to offer all the possible services to the customers, and we also enjoy immensely the opportunities to speak with the customers and to listen to their problems and expectations. Of course a B&B is a homey place, and not a 5 star hotel. This does not justify some little problems, problems we have tried to resolve in the interest of B&B itself and of the customers too. The building is old, and notwithstanding we put a lot of attention in cleaning something “wrong” can happen in some exceptional circumstances. In fact our standard of cleaning is considered high (as many customers in their reviews have mentioned). However, we appreciate the positive criticism because we absolutely want to improve our organization and the customer/satisfaction.

    A great weekend away!

    My wife and I wanted a relaxing weekend away before our baby arrives, and that's exactly what we got! Our host, Pam, was gracious as can be between the huge breakfasts and warm hospitality. We'll be back!

    The Italian Suite

    My husband and I recently spent two nights in The Italian Suite. Our stay was very nice. The Woodstock Inn B & B is located near the downtown square and it provides a nice size parking lot that is located off of the main road. The Italian Suite is located on the first floor. It has a 2 person jacuzzi tub in a separate room near a large fireplace. The suite also has a king size bed with a separate bathroom that includes both a tub and a shower. Pam was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfasts and snacks were yummy. She was very good about accommodating food restrictions. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this place to others.

    The best night ever

    My wife and I have been to many countries and many states and I believe that the service and accomendations or second to none. Pam is the best host one could ask for. Her breakfast and personality are both warm and deliciouis. The room we had was very romantic and private. The warm cookies and water every night were perfect. In fact we couldn't eat all the cookies so we took them when we left. Pam recommended the couuple's message and boy was it worth it. They did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved it so much we will be returning in June 2012 and getting a couple's message. Can't wait. Thank you Pam for making this trip so wonderful. Steve and Patti.
