It is hot in Holly Springs MS in June, but The Court Square Inn is a cool place to stay. My husband and I rented the room on the backside from the square and it was perfect. The living room & kitchen area was very roomy with oversized comfy chairs for reading and relaxing. Last year we found a magazine called Guns and Garden on the coffee table. We loved the magazine so much we subscribed to it later. We make our annual trip to Holly Springs to attend the Hill Country Picnic and we have a blast. If you like to take in the locals… then visit the restaurant across the street called JB’s on the Square. We ate breakfast there and I had a giant pancake and a couple of eggs. The coffee is good and strong and folks are friendly. Before breakfast I went for a walk a couple of blocks from The Court Square Inn and found the Hillcrest Cemetery. It provided a hilly walk but it was beautiful. I read later the Hillcrest Cemetery is home to 14 confederate generals, unknown soldiers from the Battle of Shiloh, and the first African-American senator Hiram Revels. Lisa, the owner of The Court Square Inn give attention to detail in the décor and the food selection in the fridge. If you go… tell her the folks from the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival sent you!

We booked the entire inn for my daughter's wedding last weekend. Everything was perfect! This is a true luxury inn...Holly Springs is so fortunate to have such a beautiful place and Lisa Liddy is the nicest host imaginable! We all travel a lot and this inn was amazing and rivals any place we've ever stayed. Betty Carole Pearson Wittjen

We booked all 3 suites for the North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic and were blown away by how great this place is! No detail is missed and Lisa (the owner) could not have been nicer and more concerned about our stay. She asked for constructive criticism and we had nothing to tell her - I have recommended this inn to anyone who will listen and absolutely cannont wait to go back next year!! This place really raises the bar!

I visited the Inn for three nights.. What a wonderful Inn. The suite was very clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast foods are provided in your suite. No need to get milk for the cereal as its in the frig as well as a variety of fresh fruit. There is one minus that I hate to report because the experience otherwise was wonderful. The suite has a very bad mildew odor. There was no sign of mildew but the smell was very strong. I had to rewash my clean clothes on returning home to get the odor out.

The historic building is relatively modest on the outside, but the accommodations are unexpectedly spectacular! We had the room overlooking the courthouse square. More of an apartment, actually, with full kitchen, living room, bedroom. Lisa Liddy, the proprietress, met us upon arrival and she made us feel as if we had been in Holly Springs before. Instead of serving a breakfast (Lisa does not live on the premises), a well-stocked refrigerator and pantry is provided. Court Square Inn is very tastefully furnished, spotless, and as fresh as new. We highly recommend it!

This is a "self-serve" breakfast, so if you want some alone, private time this is the perfect place! I fell in love with the apartment ... everything you need, so ergonomic, clean, lovely, and luxurious. I truly felt like I could live there happily ever after. Absolutely astounding remodel work and the best of furniture, furnishings, and linens. The added touch of snacks and beverages was much appreciated, too.
