    Bed and Breakfast du Evelo, également connu comme "la Bell maison» après les propriétaires d'origine, a été conçu par l'architecte mid-western William Kenyon pour le Dr John et Kate Bell en 1897. La maison a trois histoires et possède l'un des meilleurs intérieurs victoriens conservés dans le quartier Lowry Hill est. L'étage principal tout est fait en lourd millwork Chêne foncé encore dans son état d'origine. Les magnifiques boiseries, coin cheminée et de meubles d'époque fournissent des invités avec un salon chaleureux et confortable. Une salle plutôt inhabituelle est la salle à manger. C'est une combinaison d'une salle à manger formelle et un conservatoire avec sa salle de fenêtres sur le mur sud. Invités bénéficient d'un petit-déjeuner étendu de fruits frais, pâtisseries assortis, yogourt ou fromage, café, thé et jus. Le Perron avec des meubles d'osier son offre un cadre idéal pour se détendre ou même profiter de petit déjeuner. Les trois chambres spacieuses sont situés au troisième étage, une quatrième chambre à coucher au deuxième étage, chaque meublé avec mobilier d'époque. Hébergement ont été modélisés après l'arrangement anglais Bed and Breakfast, dans la mesure où les deux salles de bains sont partagés (une bains, bain de moitié). Les clients ont disponibles pour leur utilisation, un petit réfrigérateur, cafetière, téléphone privé et d'une petite télévision dans chaque chambre. Également disponibles sont nombreux des guides, des cartes et des magazines. Toutes les chambres disposent de lits queen et deux des chambres ont un lit supplémentaire. Hôtes offrent des invités avec des informations sur les restaurants locaux, les attractions de la ville et les directions faciles pour rendre leur séjour agréable et confortable. Evelo a été sélectionné par les pages de la ville, un hebdo local, comme les meilleures auberges dans le Twin Cities, Evelo a été également mis en vedette sur TV WCCO newcast "Recherche Minnesota".

    Do Not Go Anywhere Else

    My mother and I visited Evelo's while in town for a John O'Donohue workshop. The decor was wonderful, the place is located just steps away from a bus stop, the hosts were gracious and helpful, the lighting was gorgeous and the FOOD was just RIDICULOUSLY fantastic. Seriously, it was scrumptuous and delightfully different each morning we stayed. My mom and I STILL think about it at random times. I love B&Bs and I visit them as often as I can and I have NEVER come across one that fed their guests as well. You should visit them...and send me the leftovers.

    We have never stayed at a B&B. We are senior citizens and were treated royally by Barbara, substitute inn-keeper. The Evelo's were on vacation during our 4 night stay. Barbara's breakfast was delightful and healthy. Fresh fruit, juice, baked breads, etc. were prepared fresh each morning. Due to the fact that we are limited in our abilities to climb stairs, the third floor bedroom was inconvenient. The room was very pretty and the closet was a very generous size. It would have been perfect had it not been for the stairs. Folks that stayed there were very friendly. Barbara provided us with answers and directions to help us get around the city. If we were in better health, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

    Greatest Best B&B I have ever been.

    This B&B is probably the best I have been in the past years. Very welcoming and I was given a lot of information about Minneapolis so that I could tourist around. Very clean place. The house has a very fine and old finish. I was already impressed as I stepped in the first time. Breakfast was a feast day after day. I was very impressed by the freshness of the food and the different kind of dish I was offered. I will definitely come back again and tell all my friends about it. Thank you for the wonderful staying. Massimo.

    Lovely decor an unexpected treat

    The antique decor is certainly a delight to the eye. The reasonable rate compensates for the wait for the shared bathroom. Although the innkeeper strives to make wonderful pastries, fruit and yogurts; we do miss having a hot egg dish of some sort. It is too heavy on the breads and pastries. I would like the option of not having the breakfast at a lesser cost if possible

    What a great experience! The food the ambiance and a chance to meet fellow visitors from all over the country. As a former resident of Minneapolis, I enjoyed staying in one my favorite areas of the city. I shall return!

    We stayed at Evelo's last May 2008 in the room upstairs (on the left) and it was fantastic. Great view and closet space - very together B&b in a very good location. Best front porch, beautiful street. Highly recommended.

    Fabulous!

    We only had one night in Minneaopolis and Evelo's was the perfect place to stay! It was beautiful and very comfortable and breakfast was delicious! The owners David and Sheryl were very gracious and helpful in recommending a fantastic Italian restaurant near by. We will stay with them again if we are in Minneapolis!

    Great Location Comfortable Rooms Bathroom is a bit awkward as the ceiling is slanted at an angle so you have to crouch while showering.
