    Visit and enjoy every aspect of our "home" with its heritage and tradition that has welcomed guests for 170 years. The only thing The National House Inn overlooks is the Fountain Circle in the middle of picturesque Marshall. Our 16 rooms offer all the luxuries of today with the same gracious hospitality first enjoyed by stagecoach travelers in the 1800s. Nineteenth century flavor is tastefully blended with modern conveniences. Three parlors offer spots for private moments or visiting with old and new friends.

    This B & B is just beautiful. Everyone was so nice and we had privacy, but there would be someone around that you could ask questions about. The town of Marshall is alright, but everything closes early around 5 p.m. except for a few restaurants and pubs. The homes in the area our huge, historic and close by. Not too much to do in town, shop, take a tour or two. The Inn was the highlight of the visit.

      The National House Inn is located in the south-central portion of Michigan in downtown Marshall. We're approximately 3 hours east of Chicago; 2 hours west of Detroit; and 1 1/2 hours north of Fort Wayne. From I-94, exit 110 (old 27). Go south to the Fountain. The National House Inn is on the right side of the road about 1/4 of the way around the Fountain Circle. (The National House Inn is on the southwest corner of the Fountain Circle.) From I-69, exit 36 ( Michigan Ave). Go east. Go though the first light and continue traveling east to the Fountain. Just before reaching the Fountain you will see The National House Inn is on the right side of the road. (The National House Inn is on the southwest corner of the Fountain Circle.)
