    Assis sur un lac de Dewey surplombant knoll, une retraite"pays" attend Manoir invités dans les collines d'Irlande du Sud du Michigan. Cette maison Italianate 1860 a cinq chambres avec bains privés et les foyers, une avec baignoire Jacuzzi meublée avec des antiquités et des papiers peints archaïque. Un grand pont et verre fermé porche, avec vue sur le lac, est un endroit agréable pour un petit déjeuner d'été ou simplement vous détendre. Autres chambres comprennent un salon avec un piano et un salon avec une fenêtre de baie surplombant le lac, il y a dix-huit acres à errer et une aire de pique-nique par le lakeshore. Invités peuvent également bénéficier de la paddleboat, canoë et feux de soir par le lac. L'emplacement central de la colline irlandais offre antiquing, nourri de printemps de cinquante-deux lacs, jouer au golf, pêche, villages pittoresques et bien plus encore. Les amateurs de voiture sont seulement 3 km du Michigan Speedway. Si vous venez profiter du douces sons d'une nuit d'été ou le silence silencieux du lac gelé, votre séjour sera un souvenir.

    Enjoy a Mini Vacation in MI Irish Hills

    Thursday (February 14, 2013) afternoon through Sunday (February 17, 2013) morning we stayed at Dewey Lake Manor (http://www.deweylakemanor.com) Bed and Breakfast (BnB). We had a beautiful room in a beautiful building on a beautiful site overlooking Dewey Lake. We had tasty breakfasts with excellent conversations with fellow guests and with Barb and Joe Phillips, the owners.

    First Impressions!!!!

    This was our first experience with a B&B and we could not have chosen a more perfect way for celebrating our anniversary. Upon our arrival, Barb greeted us at the door and showed us to our room where we were welcomed by warm gas fire place and a congratulatory rose in a vase. Barb and Joe also provided us with a complimentary bottle of chilled wine. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous and cinnamon bread and butter have now become a staple in our home. Can't wait to come back.

    Pleasant and peaceful with lovely hosts

    We spent a very relaxing several days over the holidays. A step back in time with a very historical home made very quaint and comfortable. Joe and Barb are very gracious, informative and helpful. We look forward to our next visit. Kirk and Connie .

    Wonderful food, the decorations make the entire house lively. Great conversation during breakfast, I recommend for everyone who wants a getaway that is not like the norm.

    Joe est un électricien retraité, a un grand intérêt dans les voitures anciennes et les courses de NASCAR. Il bénéficie des chiens, particulièrement les laboratoires noir et rend un gaufres vraiment "moyenne". Dent est une infirmière, qui aime les maisons anciennes, antiquités et a une grande passion pour les Granges. Elle aime de jardin et j'aimerais vraiment obtenir son certificat de maîtres jardiniers.

Located within an area that is described as a wine-lover’s paradise, this B & B congers up feelings of “Somewhere In Time”, “The Secret Garden”, or “On Golden Pond”. Turn off the smart phone, put away the ipad and leave the laptop notebook at home in order to really slow down your mind and enhance your senses. The simple pleasures of life reign supreme at Dewey Lake Manor, such as a casual stroll, a paddle on the lake, getting absorbed into a book, or enjoying a scrumptious country breakfast each morning. Our stay at Dewey Lake Manor was a memorable experience as we celebrated a birthday and our 18th wedding anniversary.     This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this charming location. Barb and Joe are great hosts. My mother is 92 and they are patient and kind. We feel welcome and comfortable here.

    Great hopitality and peaceful setting

    Our first time vist for our 1st wedding anniversary and the hospitality exceeded my expectations. The home feeling that Barb and Joe gave was well appreciated. Thank you so much for the rose and complimentary wine, we thoroughly enjoyed and we already want to plan a return visit. Very peaceful setting on the lakefront. Thank you so much and will recommend your place any chance we get.

    A night at the manor.

    The wife and I stayed at Dewey's for the night,just to get away for the weekend, also celebrated are 36the Weeding Anniversary. The host remembered this and gave the wife a rose what a nice thing for her to do.The service was fantastic, they made you feel like you were right at home.We like it so much that we booked again in a couple week.If you want to just have a romantic get away Dewey's is the place to go.
