Situé à mi-chemin du port de Kennebunk et de sa plage, nous avons pris l'habitude d'y retourner à chaque été. Qualité-prix exceptionnelle. Calme et sécuritaire !

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Guest House recently and found it a perfect place to stay. We were able to walk to the lower village and it was close to the beach where we started and every day. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast exceptional. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed walking around them and visiting the chapel. We would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The grounds here are lovely though you may want to take advantage of the bug spray on the front porch before heading out. I stayed in the main building. Decor a bit dated (my room had 70's style wood panelling through out!), but the bed was very comfortable. Shower hot and powerful - what I needed after a day of cycling. BTW, I was offered the use of basement to lock my bicycle overnight. Note, the guesthouse has several amenities but asks for donations (e.g. $0.50 for coffee or tea in the lobby, $1.00 to use the computer, $3.00 to add hot items to breakfast) so bring the correct change. I would stay here again.

I have stayed here three years in a row. The salt water pool is sublime and not crowded--nicer than one at much more expensive hotel we stayed at-- Breakfast is great--and the bathroom is on par with any other hotel bathroom. Decor of rooms is in line with the great bargain this place is. The roms are clean, clean and clean and the location can't be beat. A great value!

My husband and I enjoyed the salt water pool, being able to walk to the beach (although a car permit is given) and the helpfulness of the front desk people. Our 2 bed room was clean and had a beautiful view of the monastery. I would definitely stay again. Close to the town for shopping and restaurants.

My girlfriend and I just returned from a long July 4th weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine, not far up from Boston along the coast of Maine. We were lucky to stay at the Franciscan Guest House because of its beautiful seaside grounds, nice staff, reasonable rates, hearty breakfast, and nearness to both the beach and the center of Kennebunkport. We liked it so much that before leaving we made a reservation to return this Labor Day weekend, Friday, September 3, 2010!

This place is a treat -- and retreat. The wooded grounds are lovely for strolls, the beds comfortable and the rooms dorm-room plain but clean and adequately equipped. The breakfast includes a half-dozen types of home made pastries. Very serene, despite central Kennebunk/port location. I would like to return in the summer and use the pool.

Du Sud : Prendre le Maine Turnpike (95) à Wells, sortie 19 (anciennement sortie 2). Prendre sortie 19 et la rampe off vous conduira à un feu stop. Vous sera maintenant confrontée au Sud. Tournez à gauche au feu sur 109 Vasút est de 1,6 km. Prendre à gauche au jeu de lumières sur 1 très Nord 1,8 km, puis à droite sur 9 Vasút est de 4,2 milles à l'intersection de Rts. 9 & 35. Prendre à droite sur l'avenue de la plage et nous sommes.2 milles sur votre gauche. Du Nord : prendre le Turnpike Maine à Kennebunk, sortie 25 (anciennement sortie 3). Tournez à gauche et en lumière une gauche immédiate à nouveau sur 35 Vasút Sud. Passez 1,8 km sur 35 Vasút à Kennebunk. Tournez à gauche au feu sur Vasút 1. Lecteur 1/2 bloc sur 1 Vasút et prendre à droite sur 35 Vasút. Continuer sur 35 Vasút Sud 3,5 kilomètres. Au deuxième straigh allez lumière sur Vasút 9 (Avenue Ouest) sur l'avenue de la plage et nous sommes simplement.2 milles sur la gauche.
