We had a delightful 3 days at the Bursley, enjoying the amazing Bursley family home built in 1670 and thoughtfully updated to balance the long history and guest comfort. Our hosts were very helpful in pointing out local spots (restaurants, beaches, scenic roads etc.) and put together a fine breakfast. The Bursley family is buried at a cemetery very nearby, so it's worth a short walk or shorter drive to see the family monument. in the midst of 300 years of grave sites.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the Manor. What a treat to stay in a house built in 1670! It has been redone very thoughtfully to balance comfort with history. Our hosts were a treasure of history, hints and guidance about the Cape. It's location is perfect, near a road less traveled and excellent evening dining in addition to a very nice breakfast. Leaving was like saying good by to family.

Sheila and Francis were gracious and warm. I felt like I was staying with family. The breakfast was outstanding, I had a wonderful relaxing time and cant wait to go back. Thank you Sheila and Francis!

This was a delightful bed and breakfast built in 1670. The wine and breakfasts shared with Shelia and Ralph were most enjoyable. As often the case with bed and breakfast establishments the porpreittors make it truly special.

The Rose Room is appropriately named for the beautiful rose murals hand painted by our local artist. It has a working fireplace and may be combined with the Wisteria Room, to form a two room suite. Private bath with jetted tub.
The Wisteria Room gets it's name from the beautiful Wisteria vines and murals hand painted by Lindsay Hopkins, a well known Cape Cod decorative painter. Her work can be found throughout the manor. Private bath with jetted tub.
The Laura Room is a quaint, cozy room that features a 4-poster bed and cherry decor. This room is offered at a discounted rate due to it's slightly smaller size. Private bath with jetted tub.
The Mad Jack Room was named after West Barnstable's most famous sea captain, Jack Percival. Captain Percival planted the magnificent chestnut trees located on our boundaries. This room features a fireplace and sculpted mahogany decor. Private bath with jetted tub.
The Wicker Room is the largest guest room at the manor. It features stylish white wicker decor, fireplace, and a spacious bathroom with separate spa and shower.
