Construit en 1721 (onze ans avant de George Washington est né!), Brimblecomb Hill B & B est une maison chaleureuse et charmante antique située dans le coeur de Marblehead historique. Toutes les chambres sont situées au premier étage et fournissent des invités avec la facilité d'accès et de confort privé dans n'importe quel de belles saisons de New England.

We were so delighted to have found this little jewel. Far enough away from Boston - but only 40 minutes by car, located in a well-situated & compact seaside location. The room was perfect for us - a library bedroom, complete with reading light and rocking chair AND a small, perfectly picked collection of Dylan Thomas (so we really felt at home!). The resident cat just topped off things nicely. Gene was very welcoming and extremely helpful, making dining suggestions (all good) as well as advising on our day trip to Boston. Our only small criticism was the lack of hot water in the dining area outside of "breakfast" hours - we Welsh do like a good cup of tea at regular intervals - dawn til dusk! But the morning muffins were an excellent compensation. We will certainly be beating a path to Brimblecomb House if the opportunity arises again to visit New England.

This quaint and historic B&B was a perfect place to stay and Gene is a wonderful host. We would definitely love to visit Brimblecomb Hill and Marblehead again.

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Brimblecomb Hill B&B for four nights in the Isaac Mansfield Room. The B&B is at the heart of historic Marblehead in a lovely, safe neighborhood only a few blocks from the waterfront with its restaurants, museums, beaches and Fort Sewall. The room was spacious and fitted with nice antiques, a huge assortment of books, and a modern ensuite bathroom. Gene is an ideal host -- he checks in on guests periodically to make sure that all is satisfactory and provides great advice on local attractions and restaurants -- but otherwise guests are given their independence. He makes an admirable pot of coffee and continental breakfast in the morning, and provides the daily newspaper to read over breakfast. As parking space is a bit of a challenge in the historic area of town, Gene provides a parking pass to a parking lot across from the B&B. We didn't need to use our car much anyhow, as we most sites are conveniently close. Should we come this way again for a vacation, we would definitely reserve a room at the Brimblecomb Hill B&B.

A most delightful B&B within easy walking distance of everything in Marblehead. Charming antiques - laden accommodations and breakfast area. Our gracious host even connected with a long-lost cousin! A most memorable visit!
