Lexington, Massachusetts, une ville familière aux américains de la nation, son nom transmis de génération en génération par le biais d'histoires illustrant la naissance de notre pays. Au milieu de cette ville regorgeant d'histoire, nous trouvons un charmant Bed and Breakfast avec une réclamation intéressante qui lui est propre. Bien que la maison d'origine a été construite en 1909, ce B & B n'est pas appelé un «Old House"pour ses années. Plus jeune de la maison était le projet en vedette sur une série de télévision populaire maison d'amélioration et a duré à travers tous les vingt-six épisodes de la saison. Le projet audacieux inclus la conception et la construction d'une nouvelle chambre principale et salle de bains, cuisine, une salle adjacente de famille, sous‑sol, garage, ensemble-maison système audio installé personnellement par Dr Bose et deux ponts extérieurs : on construit en bois à l'extérieur de la cuisine et l'autre de granit accompagné d'un étang cyprin accueillante. Onze kilomètres seulement de Boston, ce gîte reste nestled dans une des banlieues de plus belles et historiques de Boston. Deux blocs de la pittoresque Bikeway Minuteman et à seulement quelques minutes des parcs, musées historiques de Lexington invités bénéficier d'un accès facile pour le meilleur des deux mondes - le charme réconfortant de Lexington Pacifique avec la vie cosmopolite de Boston vibrante. Our host, Mary Van, was delightful. Her home became our home for our 2 night stay. Her breakfast egg bake kept us full until the afternoon. She even sent us along with fruit and muffins!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Rooms were very comfortable, clean, and competitively priced. Mary Van, the proprietor, was the epitome of transplanted southern hospitality and a fascinating conversationalist. The full breakfast, catered to our special needs, was perfect. Highly recommend it.

Mary Van Sinek welcomes visitors into her home with all the southern charm of a North Carolina transplant. You are her guest and she makes sure your visit is as quiet or as busy as you want. The house is open and you are made to feel as if you have always been a part of it. Large, airy, spacious and filled with antiques, this home has all the warmth of home but with the attention of a diligent hostess. We would not want to stay anywhere else when visiting the Boston area.

Didn't see the problems that a couple of the other reviews had. Mary was as hospitable as could be and we enjoyed a wonderful house and host. All around, a beautiful stay.

My wife and I arrived at a beautiful home where upon Mary Sinek greeted us graciously. The accommodations were perfect and the breakfast was unbelievably good. We highly recommend Mary Van's B&B.

Cosy, warm, charming and just a touch of quirkyness, my old house makes for a delightful landing place just outside of Boston. The hospitality, food, and conversation are to be savored. The clean and delightful accommodations provide delightful respite.

We visited the B&B to attend our daughter's graduation. We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was fantastic and we highly recommend this B&B!! It is even dog-friendly!
