Cape Cod's Harriet Beecher Stowe (Room A). This is a spacious premium room located in the B&B's Guesthouse. The king bed and gas fireplace makes this a romantic and cozy room. The private bath has a whirlpool tub. This room is appointed with an abundance of details for your convenience such as a mini-fridge and coffee maker.
Henry David Thoreau Cottage: 2 bedrooms with a king bed and queen bed, jacuzzi-style tub, private bathroom, sitting room and private deck.
Nobska Lighthouse - in Woods Hole, only a short drive from the Palmer House, it provides for stunning views of the ocean.
Lee's Family Pancakes - a delightful favorite here at the Inn.
Cape Cod's Walt Whitman Room (Room D, ADA). Our Walt Whitman Room, is handicapped accessible and is located in our B&B's Guest House. It may be accessed by ramp from the parking lot to the wrap around porch level and then entered through its own private entrance, or through the central entry door and hall. This room has a mini fridge, a coffee maker and a private bath with a tub and shower.

The Shining Sea Bikeway - just steps from the Inn, this bike path winds its way past coastal areas and beaches.
Surf Drive Beach, Cape Cod. You can either walk or cycle on the Shining Sea Bikeway to this beautiful beach from the Palmer House Inn in about ten to fifteen minutes.
The Richard Henry Dana Room (Room Twelve). The Dana Room is designed in shades of wine, dark green and ivory. An original drawing by P.L. O'Connell is hung on the north wall.

Cape Cod's Edith Wharton Room (Room Two). This is a mid-sized room that is located in the turret on the second floor of the old Main Inn and is one of our most requested rooms. It has a carved mahogany queen canopy bed, a crocheted coverlet and shams. The bed is also covered with a cozy ivory duvet. From the window one has a view of the garden and trellis below. This en suite room is complete with a stall shower and plenty of plush towels.

it is perfect. I loved my time there the room was great, Pat and Bill are wonderful and Falmouth is a great time. I have stayed in many bed and breakfast before and I think this is the best. I cannot wait to go again

This quaint two-bedroom stand alone cottage suite is a unique feature of our B&B. The primary bedroom is furnished with a king bed, a whirlpool (jacuzzi style) tub and a television with a DVD in the room. The second bedroom is smaller with a queen bed. A sitting area joins the two bedrooms, it opens onto a private deck and garden. The sitting area has a mini fridge and a coffee maker. There is a full bath off the sitting area with a tub and shower.

Both last year and this year we spent Christmas Day with family who live in Falmouth, however they didn't have enough extra bedrooms so we found the Palmer Inn. We consider ourseleves fortunate to have found a nice Inn that was open on Christmas Day. The Palmer Inn is lovely. Large, spacious rooms, tastefully decorated for the Christmas holiday. Rooms are immaculately clean, bed linens extremely soft and comfortable.. An extra bonus was the jacuzzi -- a very welcome opportunity to soak and relax your muscles after a long day. We called to let Bill and Pat know that we would require a late check-in and they were most accomodating, even though they were celebrating Christmas with their family. Breakfast the next day was good. We will definitly return again.

The room was lovely, the building is very nice with great attention to detail. The breakfasts feature New England specialties, everything is fresh and the presentation is wonderful. Plus the afternoon cookies are to die for. You can walk into town to restaurants and shops (just two blocks way) in the charming village. This is a terrific choice!

Our stay was fine -- not better, not worse. Breakfast, honestly, was a disappointment. There was nothing special to it at all, and most of what we ate wasn't hot. It certainly wasn't gourmet. For us, the best part of our stay was the location -- we could walk right into town. Our room (the penthouse) was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. I will say that we both found it a bit creepy to have a sign in book right next to the bed. Maybe it's just us, but we really weren't keen to know who had slept there just before we left!

Absolutely beautiful inn. Walking distance to center of town, which is full of quaint shops and excellent restaurants. Short drive to beach, winery and local attractions. Exceptional attention to small details.
