Captain Tom Lawrence House Bed and Breakfast Inn

Jim and Anne were the perfect hosts. Very helpful with places to visit and the breakfasts were fantastic. The house was very clean and welcoming and only a few minutes walk from the main street of Falmouth with plenty of restuarants and shops etc. Would thoroughly recommend Captain Lawrence House.

The inn is lovely and a great location but, I was disappointed in my room - very small with a bathroom that you could barely stand in. The innkeepers were not around except for breakfast.

We stayed for 4 nights, we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our breakfasts very much. Jim and Anne were extremely helpful with local knowledge of what to see and do.

Beautiful inn with very friendly hosts. Room was perfect, very quaint and New England like.

A lovely B&B with wonderful hosts who provided lots of great information and delicious breakfasts and snacks. The rooms were a good enough size and we really enjoyed our stay.

Anne and Jim were very accommodating of our late arrival and were extremely gracious and hospitable hosts. The room was spotless and very comfortable and the inn was very pleasantly air conditioned on a very hot day. All in all an impeccable stay.

Anne and Jim are very friendly. They made our stay very relaxing. they were very flexiable with changes to our trip. You can tell they really enjoy the business and people.

Anne and Jim gave us many helpful tips for our 1st visit to Cape Cod. Location was great as within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops. Also able to walk to shuttle bus for Woods Hole ferry. Breakfasts were very enjoyable, lots of home baking. Room was clean and comfortable although bathroom rather small, but we are used to hotels rather than B and B's and this may be the norm. Pauline & Roger, Kent - July 2011

Following our son's wedding in Essex, CT, our remaining family decided to go to the Cape and stay at Jim & Anne Cotter's B&B. All 8 of us stayed in the house and had a great time. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast beautifully prepared. The owners helped on places to visit and tickets, roads and information about the area. We had a delightful 6 night stay at Capt. Tom Lawrence. It was better than being at home with gracious hosts, hearty breakfasts, a location close to businesses, the beach, and the bike trail. Lynne Porterfield & Ramsey Frist

I have become a regular guest here on my twice annual trips to Woods Hole because the rooms are very nice, it's quiet, close to Woods Hole, and Ann and Jim are very accommodating when my schedule included late arrival. Much nicer than a hotel, and the breakfasts are delicious.

Our stay was very nice. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The shower however, was tiny. It was difficult to move around and there was no place to put your shampoo or soap without it falling on the floor. The breakfasts were delicious although the portions were small. Only one glass of juice and then the cup was taken away. The inkeepers were quite nice and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Cap Tom Lawrence last Sunday night. The house was beautiful and the innkeepers were wonderfully friendly and informative. Breakfast was both elegant and delicious. I would absolutely recommend staying with them again.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend at the Captain Tom Lawrence B&B and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The owners are super nice. Our room felt like a little home away from home. Easy walking distance to all the shops on Main Street.

Had an excellent stay at Capt. Tom Lawrence House. A comfortable, well-appointed room, well located, friendly hosts, a first-rate breakfast - all you could want in a B&B. And Falmouth is a terrific little town.

After three weeks cruising through New England we went to Cape Cod. we have made a reservation through the internet from Holland. It was the first time for us to stay in a B&B. We have had a wunderful time at the beautifeul house with Jim and Anne. They are very nice and they can tell a lot of their town and Cape Cod. The mornings we have had a very good breakfast. If we come back, we go to Jim and Anne and to the Irish pub!! Loek and Janet from Holland.

Drove down the Falmouth from P'town in a nightmare of a storm so was very late checking in but owners where delightful and accomodating so all was fine in the end. Room was very "frilly" but large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellant. All round a good choice.

What a wonderful place to spend one or many days. Each morning we were served an absolutely delicious breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. Anne and Jim were exceptionally knowledgeable about the surrounding area and offered maps, brochures, menus and all kinds of useful advice pertaining to our interests and sightseeing destinations. We felt truly pampered and cared for and will return whenever possible.

Great, clean B & B with wonderful innkeepers. We would highly recommend Captain Tom Lawrence House. It's convenient to main street shops and restaurants and Martha's Vineyard Ferry.
