We had a lovely stay at the Aisling B&B for a overnight in Boston. Our room was comfortable and clean, nicely decorated with plenty of space. We especially loved the "private entrance" that let us feel like we had our own little spot in Boston. Dympna and James helped make us feel at home, and we enjoyed our long conversations with them over coffee at breakfast.

Dympna Moore and her husband, James, offer a beautiful vacation spot at their B&B in the Southern End of Boston at Aisling House (pronounced "Ashling"). We absolutely loved our stay! Great hosts with wonderful breakfasts, travel tips, and hospitality. The rooms were perfect with snuggly beds, luxurious bathrooms, and even TV and free wireless access. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Best of everything. Will definitely refer friends.

It was an outstanding experience starting from Dympna picking us up at the airport. We stayed for nine days and we were amazed by the quality, quantity and the varieties of food for "breakfast". They were delicious and sumptuous. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location is central and various tourist attractions can easily be reached by public transportations. Both hosts, Dympna and James, are intelligent, warm, helpful and knowledgeable about Boston area. We'll certainly stay at Aisling B & B again if we visit Boston in the future.

This is the best hotel in Boston, located on a picturesque street in Boston's historic South End. Beautiful home run by two delightful people, Dympna and James Moore from Dublin, Ireland. Staying there is worthwhile if only for the sensory appeal of the wafting of Dympna's devine cooking, and we are understating if anything. Best place to stay in Boston, and beats out the chic chic hotels (where we previously stayed) by orders of magnitude. Lovely stay and highly recommended.

This old house is full of character and beautifully decorated. I've read about the breakfasts before going, but, still, I couldn't believe what I saw. The host and hostest are both welcoming people, always eager to give us informtions for our trip. The hostest even provided us with snacks a couple of times. Considering the fact that it is very centrally located, close to downtown (with a bus service nearby), offers parking (which can be a real headache in Boston), this place a real GEM! Lovely house, clean and spacious, and comfortable bedroom. Home made breakfast including muffins from the oven, pancakes and home made bread yum! Both the land lady and land lord very hospitable and welcoming. Felt like I stayed with a relatives, kind and genuine. Having travelled to Boston alone I greatly appreciated the collection and drop off to the airport which was part of the package, thank you very much. Thank you also Dympna for your patience with my concert event obsession :-)

The Aisling bed and breakfast is a terrific find in Boston. They even had a parking spot for our rental car! We were greated by Dympna who welcomed us to the sitting room to visit since we arrived early and our room wasn't quite ready. The room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom was especially nice with nice Egyptian cotton towels. The accomadations were overall very comfortable. The most impressive part was the beautiful breakfast served the next morning. I find most B and B's now offer a continental breakfast. Not Aisling. There were homemade breads, jams, and compotes, baked peaches and individual breakfast quiche's. Dympna and James were both present and conversation flowed like we were all old friends! I highly recommend this B and B and hope to stay here again.
5 out of 5Best B and B Value in Boston with Lovely Inn Keepers

Dympna and James Moore are the proprietors of this wonderful Bed and Breakfast in Boston's South End. The rooms were immaculate, clean and nicely appointed with cable TV and wireless internet throughout the building. There is a first floor kitchen for guests to use and a second floor sitting room for chatting. Dympna makes amazing breakfasts for you that are sure to treat. In five days time, we had traditional Irish breakfast on Sunday, along with mushroom fritatta, apple crepes, and baked brioche french toast on other days. Her amazing baked bread, muffins and home-made ginger yogurt is also served with the entrees every day! Dympna picked us up from the airport and Amtrak stations, and her husband took my partner back to the airport on the day of departure at 5 AM!!! Who will do that for you? James and Dympna also made available to us their roof-top deck...just lovely. James and Dympna hail from Ireland but have been in the states for decades. They tell great stories and really seem interested in their guests. These people were like old friends, even though we had just met them...and they are THE MOST ACADEMICALLY ACCOMPLISHED INN-KEEPERS IN NORTH AMERICA. James is a practicing physician, and Dympna is a retired anesthesiologist and currently an attorney, in addition to inn keeper...she is truly a wonderful soul and she will make your stay in Boston very special. The house is very near the Silver line so access to downtown is easy and Massachusetts Avenue is a few block walk, so you can catch an easy bus to Cambridge to visit Harvard Square and MIT if you wish. The B and B is also a half-block walk to a Walgreen's Pharmacy and two blocks from two amazing restaurants both on Washington Street, namely Stella and Toro, which have become nationally recognized for Italian Cuisine and Tapas respectively. We will stay with them again next time we are in Boston. Sincerely, Steve Migalski
