The Inn and our room was charming. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Great views. Comfy bed. A/C a bit noisy but the cozy bed helped overcome. Breakfast right in... Not overdone, just right.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were attending a wedding very close by. Our room was the smallest in the place but it was so cute! Our service was amazing! Bob showed us to our room which had chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us. It was delicious and beautiful! Thank you for such a great first B&B experience! The place itself was so cozy, beautiful, and relaxing.

We come to Chesapeake City for it's charming small town atmosphere and abundant outdoor activities including kayaking and biking. The innkeepers are full of information on things to do in the area. This was my second time staying there and I'll definitely be back again.

Not having been to this area, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Inn At The Canal Bed & Breakfast. Bob and his team made it feel like a home away from home. We'll be back! Thanks.

My husband and I just needed a weekend away from the chaos of life. We often visit Chesapeake City for lunch or dinner, but this time wanted to stay so that we could enjoy wine with our meals and not worry about driving home. Bob was a gracious host and provided wonderful breakfasts. During the day, coffee, tea, sodas, water, and homemade baked good were available on the sideboard for guests. There was a refrigerator available where we kept a bottle of champagne. The history of the home is fascinating and you will enjoy the beautifully handpainted and stencil stamped ceilings which have been left unrestored since restoring them would eliminate some of their beauty. Sit on the front porch and watch the people go by, or sit on the back porch with a gorgeous view of the water. We will stay at the Inn at the Canal again, and hopefully in the near future!

We just stayed with Bob and Carol for a long weekend. We enjoyed ourselves so much! They were so hospitable! We stayed in Cara Cove and loved it! A little secret - the ceiling is magical and you should see it for yourself! Bob is a gourmet chef and the breakfasts were amazing! Drinks, fruit, snacks and homemade baked desserts are available all day. The Inn is a short walk to nice restaurants, cafes, a wonderful little ice cream place, multiple shops, and the water's edge. If you want to take in some music, there are opportunities available. It was absolutely amazing and we will go back!
