My wife and I needed to get away for a few days, and this was perfect! The location is perfect, meals were great, Bob and Samantha were perfect hosts, and we loved every minute of it. We stayed in the Cassidy Wharf room, and woke up each morning to a delicious custom tailored breakfast. We love being on the water, and Chesapeake City was incredible. A small quiet town, with a rich history, and plenty to do day or night. My only concerns before arriving, were about my truck and boat. Where to park, where to launch, etc. The town has free public docks, maybe 30 yards behind The Inn! Very convenient! I was able to park my truck and trailer on the street in front of The Inn, which was also made me happy. The free town boat ramp was also within walking distance. For my first B&B stay, this was an all around great experience. I will do it again SOON.

Facade is charming and quintessential American. Very well maintained exteriors and interiors with original ceiling paintwork. No musky smells despite lots of antique wood furnishings. Room was immaculately clean, even taps were shiny! Good hot/cold water pressure. Nice white fluffy bath towels. Plenty natural light from 2 windows. At night, 5 lamps brighten the room for reading/ work. Loved the painstaking ceiling artwork. 24-hr coffee/tea + snacks. Breakfast by Innkeeper-Chef Bob was delicious. Most impressed by Bob's hospitality - there was genuine interest, not stiff, forced or by design. Very Friendly and amiable! Thanks Bob for making our stay memorable. Chesapeake City is a small charming town with beautiful water views of ships/barges Nice for 1-day trip but not any longer. The only thing that can be improved is the spotty Wifi connection in the room.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay in the Chesapeake Haven room at the Inn at the Canal B&B. Such a lovely room and the owners were terrific. They recommended great places to visit and eat and very informative on the area. First class breakfast by a renowned chef.

Our family with two small children was welcomed with open arms! The room was a nice size, and a full-size cot was set up for our children. The food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely come to stay in the future!

The inn keeper Bob was so nice, would like to try a bigger room, we had Snug Harbor and it was very small, my husband and I did not sleep well in the full size bed either but a cool Victorian place and yes I would go again, Pancakes were Delicious!

Great place to stay for a getaway weekend. Innkeeper prepares a lovely breakfast, and is extremely helpful in planning your day. Rooms facing the C&D Canal are likely quieter than the one in which we stayed. Several excellent restaurants nearby. Be sure to visit the C&D Canal Museum to view the story of digging the canal and maintaining it.

We stayed for one night. Like many historical B&Bs the rooms of the period are small, but not too difficult to get around the queen size bed. A great location to wlak around the shops and enjoy the Sunday night concerts in the park. Breakfast was great.

Bob and Samantha were great hosts. The room we booked was beyond our expectations. The house had a historic feel to it. We enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come back in the future.
