    Perfect Relaxing Getaway

    My wife and I stayed in the elegant Ellicott room for 2 nights on a Google Offers deal I picked up a while back. It was the perfect place just to get away from home and relax. The breakfast both mornings was superb with a little of everything from cereal to fruit and yogurt to pastries to some egg-containing thing that was delicious. The rooms are beautifully decorated, as is the rest of the house. We spent hours just relaxing and reading in the sun room. They have managed to make the place feel as secluded as possible given the location on a fairly busy street corner. It was extremely quiet both nights and the king bed was quite comfortable. My wife and I came away feeling rested and rejuvenated. I don't doubt that we will be staying here again sometime soon.

    Great visit

    Sabrina , the innkeeper, did everything possible to make our 10 day stay wonderful. We felt we were truly guests - she did an amazing job accommodating my food allergies. I enjoyed just walking thru the rooms and searching thru the books - it was so peaceful. A great respite from our usually crazy lives at home! We plan to stay there again when we go visit our daughter.

    A wonderful weekend...

    We had never been to the Baltimore area and weren't really sure what to expect. Thanks to Sabrina and her wonderful hospitality, great food, and the amazing house, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Catonsville. The area is steeped in history and the fall foliage was wonderful. We will be back.

    What a surprise!

    My boyfriend and I stayed at Paradise completely by accident; our plan was to come hike in Patapsco Valley then stay in a cabin in the woods, but they were completely sold out. We drove around the block a few times and happened upon Paradise. I was extremely skeptical and thought it would be like a bad movie come to life. However, he was quite enthused about it and enticed me to get over my qualms. Well, I was pleasantly surprised upon entry how quaint, neat and fabulous it was. Additionally, Sabrina, the proprietor of this awesome establishment made us feel at home from the moment she began to give us the tour. We checked in, ended up hiking for hours in the woods, then headed back and found Fridays on Frederick which was an awesome outdoor music fest. After the fest, we headed back to Sabrina's and sat in her gazebo outside with wine and the Gypsy Kings playing; it was a beautiful night. We slept very soundly on the comfy bed and well climated room. In the morning, Sabrina had an outstanding breakfast waiting for us and we proceeded to ooohhh and aaahhhh over the egg souffle, parfait, bagels, fruit and cereals that were made available to us. We hugged her and left and promised that we would return again, and I think we will!! Thanks so much Sabrina!!

    Last-minute conference accommodation

    I needed a place to stay at the last minute and Sabrina was able to accommodate my requirements. She was very welcoming and warm, and provided a wonderful and comfortable living space. Her breakfasts were delicious and ... I felt like a prince sitting down to her table every morning. I told her I would return for the breakfasts alone! The room was very tidy with thoughtful little touches that I don't want to give away. It's a really beautifully decorated house, well-maintained, and with nicely landscaped grounds sheltered from the roadway. Sabrina was wonderful and I would choose staying at her BNB any day over any other accommodation when in the area.

    I found myself wanting to return right away

    I was pleased with my first impression of the home and found it very welcoming. It is close to both Catonsville and Old Ellicot City which I wanted to visit. I did see both places during the winter day and they were charming, but having seen and felt the warmth of the home I wanted to return and read the books and see the antiquities and curl in my bed there and go to sleep more than ever.
