"I stayed at the Monte Cristo because my sister was having surgery at UCSF. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast, with treats available almost around the clock. Parking is a problem. They were working on the streets around the b&b and it was difficut to find parking, without getting a ticket. But definitely worth your money. Rooms very comfortable and quiet. Shuttle to UCSF is only 2 blocks away, very convenient. If you can't climb stairs, be sure to ask for a lower level room that was very accessible for my sister on crutches the night before her surgery. I want to go back when I can have fun."
