Green Heron Inn

Lovely, comfortable room, tucked away on the right wing of the main building with private bath. Room 40 offers a bed-and-breakfast fireplace, a comfortable queen bed and a spacious bathroom. The sitting area has a cozy rocking chair a rattan chair, and provides ample space for watching TV, reading in the room, or simply relaxing and enjoying the fireplace.

A bright, cheery, and spacious room on the right wing of the main building. Room 41 has a comfortable queen size bed, and is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee pot for your comfort and convenience. The room's large windows open up to the front side of the Green Heron Inn, providing ample light in the room. The sitting and TV area offers a rattan rocking chair and a cozy upholstered chair, perfect for a quiet conversation with friend, or for relaxing with your special one.

One of the largest room on the first floor of the main building, Room 42 has a queen bed and a daybed, and can comfortably accommodate up to 3 adults with private bath. A fireplace in the corner provides a cozy warm atmosphere to enhance your stay. The sitting area provides a comfortable space where you can relax with your favorite book. For your convenience, the room is also equipped with an in-room refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee pot.

Room 44 is the largest room on the second floor of the main building. It offers two double beds, an in-room refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee pot. The bright and spacious sitting area has large windows overlooking the front side of the Green Heron Inn. Relax with a good book, or simply watch TV from the cozy loveseat.

Room 45 is a corner room on the second floor of the main building. The east side windows of the room overlook the picturesque water view of the tidal inlet. The seating area, adjacent to the south-facing window, offers plenty of light where you can cuddle up with that favorite book of yours. It is a quiet room full of sunshine with a queen bed, your escape at the Green Heron Inn from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine.

Room 46 is a second-floor room with a wonderful water view of the tidal inlet with private bath. The vaulted ceiling and the cream-colored walls create an airy, relaxing setting. Watch the wildlife from your windows. If you're lucky, you may just catch a glimpse of the majestic blue heron, or the elusive green heron.

Room 47 is a second-floor room with the gorgeous view of the water. It has a private bath and is rightly painted in pastel pink, the room's vaulted ceiling and southeast-facing window provide a cheery setting for you to relax and enjoy the beauty of your surrounding.

If privacy and quiet are what you're looking for during your vacation, Room 48 is the perfect one for you. A corner room on the second floor, room 48 provides tranquil private oasis and a wonderful view of the inlet from its windows. Its vaulted ceiling and comfortable pillow-top queen bed provide an escape from the everyday, and its comfy chairs invite you to relax with your favorite book or magazine.

With an outside deck, a spacious and very cozy pillow-top king-size bed, and its proximity to the water of the tidal inlet, room 49 is the perfect escape for those on a romantic hide-away. Sit out on the deck and watch the herons and the seagulls as they fish in the water, or sit in one of the comfy chairs in the room with your favorite book. You'll feel right at home in this bright and sunny room.

This is a room that has it all. A bright and private corner room on the first floor, Room 50 is a sunny, private oasis with all the comfort and convenience of home. It has a mini-refrigerator and a coffee pot in the room. It also offers an outside deck where you can sit and watch the tide as it flows in and out of the inlet into the Kennebunk River. The spacious sitting area offers a place to relax, and the plush pillow-top queen-size bed is sure to provide a restful night's sleep.

A stand-alone cottage located a few yards away from the main building, Shannon is a charming cottage with a lot to offer. It consists of two bedrooms, upstairs and downstairs, each with its own bathroom and separate entrance. In addition, it also has its own porch. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and a coffee pot. The sitting area has a rocking chair and a love seat. In addition, the room also has a dining table with two chairs, overlooking the picturesque tidal inlet. The upstairs bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. The sitting area is quite likely the best spot on the Green Heron property to view the tidal inlet. The upstairs bedroom also has a balcony, perfect for relaxing with a good book and catching some sunray.
