    TopSide Inn Bed & Breakfast - maison d'un capitaine de mer du XIXe siècle dans le centre du port de Boothbay, Maine. Surplombant le port pittoresque et autour des îles du point plus élevé sur la colline de McKown, la vue panoramique en mer est l'un des meilleurs dans le Maine.     A Perfect Inn

    We had a great week-long stay at this Inn. The location was perfect: away from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" Boothbay yet within easy walking distance of its resturants and amenities. It is overlooking the bay, surrounded by a well-tended garden, and its rooms are very tastefully decorated. Most importantly the two hosts made our stay all the more wonderful. They were attentive and helpful to their guests and ran things very smoothly. And every morning they served the most delicious breakfasts!

    Heaven on earth

    Brian and Ed are awesome. I felt so at home. They thought of everything from umbrellas at the front door, to blankets, suntan lotion, and bug spray on the porch, and a dish of chocolates in the foyer always full. My favorite was the pantry with its coffee, juice, homemade granola, baked goods with jams and jellies, etc. And Brian cooked a different delicious breakfast every morning. YUM! We will definitely return.

    Second visit in 6 months. Brian and Ed are top, notch inn keepers - more like family. Ed whips up the most delicious breakfasts and can only imagine what he will do in the new kitchen being renovated while they relax in Florida. They are a great team and on top of everything to make your stay a wonderful experience. Thanks again, guys, had a great time. Mary

    A wonderful stay in Boothbay!

    We started the first days of our married life together honeymooning at the Topside Inn. This place had everything we wanted: breathtaking views from our 2nd floor bedroom, scrumptious sweet and savory breakfasts by Ed, fantastic recommendations on dining and daytrips from Brian, and a cozy lounging area with a fireplace. It was a perfect spot to visit in late September. We will be back to Topside!

    Brian and Ed know how to treat their guest! What a unique and pleasant experience. Beautiful B&B with a fabulous breakfast - and the best homemade granola I have ever had (thank you for sharing your recipe). I truly hope to return some day. In the meantime, I will recommend Topside Inn to anyone I know who plans to visit Maine. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

    Thank you guys for a wonderful stay. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortabe. The breakfast was delicious! The view (once the fog lifted) was simply breathtaking. We greatly enjoyed our time in your lovely inn.
