4,6 sur 5Very groovy weekend at sea
août 12, 2012
We're just back from spending the weekend on the Liberty Clipper, tall ship in Boston and did we have a very groovy time. We started with the Rum & Revolution sail around the harbor Saturday evening. It was a night of sea chanties, tales and drinks aboard the Liberty Clipper. Then we spent the night aboard the Clipper in one of their cabins, while docked. Sunday was another sail around the harbor for the Brunch Cruise. Both cruises were a lot of fun. The crew was a blast and extremely friendly. The Clipper is a working tall ship which means that the crew live and work aboard the ship so they are very knowledgeable and have great stories to share. And our fellow passengers were also very friendly and everyone had a great time. And the food on the brunch cruise was yummy. Staying in the cabin overnight was a nice change from the typical over-priced, stuffy Boston hotels. The cabin, naturally, was small but was nicer and more comfortable than we expected. It did get a little humid through the night but August in Boston will do that. Still had a very relaxing snooze in our bunks. And we even had a continental breakfast with fresh bagels & fruit and nice hot coffee. In the spirit of full disclosure, we did get an amazing deal on our weekend due to a problem with a previous reservation. But even at full price, we would have gotten all of this and still probably paid less than one night in a Boston hotel. And the staff, crew and office personnel at Liberty really bent over backwards to make up for the earlier error. We received some of the best customer service of our lives. We would recommend any of their cruises in a heartbeat. And staying on board is an experience everyone should try at least once. Cheers to everyone at Liberty Fleet and thanx for everything. Keep sailing!
4,6 sur 5Lots of fun!

My wife and I stayed aboard the Liberty Clipper after a sunset sail in Boston Harbor. We were a little hesitant about staying aboard the ship at first, but decided we needed a good adventure, and it was! The crew was fun to sail with and enjoyable to sit on deck with later in the evening and talk to. We had dinner at the Barking Crab and listened to the band. It was great, everything was in walking distance. I'd recommend this to anyone that wants to try something unique. And, the price was fantastic compared with the $300/night hotels in the area! Thanks to the crew of the Liberty Clipper!
4,6 sur 5A fantastic experience!

I spent a night aboard the hostel style accommodation. It was everything you could hope for. The staff and owner were super friendly. The bed was comfortable. If you are happy to be on a lovely old ship (and I was more than happy to be on one) with the obvious limitations compared to a standard hotel (but lots more character and adventure) then I would wholeheartedly recommend this!
