We stayed at The Hubbard Mansion last week while in New Orleans. My wife and I loved it. We had a great time chatting with Mr. Hubbard (Don) & Shelia, they shared great stories and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, the mansion was elegant, the room was cleaner than clean, the breakfast was wonderful. If you are looking for a great and memorable experience while in New Orleans look no further than The Hubbard Mansion located in the Garden District. You will not be disappointed they will exceed all your exceptions of what a well run bed & breakfast should be. Thanks!

Visited the Hubbard Mansion for the first time and it was outstanding in every way. We will most assuredly stay there every time we return to New Orleans. Absolutely lovely home and owner. Safe, secure, and with on-site parking. Perfect place!

My husband and I have stayed at the Hubbard Mansion several times over the last 3 years. The location is wonderful - on St. Charles Avenue in the loverly Garden District. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is delicious.

We met our son in New Orleans for the weekend and stayed in the two bedroom apartment in the carriage house in the back. It was perfect for us. We had a comfortable living room to visit in. Each bedroom had an en suite bath. The location was quiet, but had easy access to the trolley and a Fresh Market store. There is off-street parking in front of the carriage house. Breakfast is not included with the apartment. Sheila and Don were very nice and made us feel welcome. I have already recommended Hubbard Mansion to several friends. A great place to stay in New Orleans.

We booked at the last minute right before st Patrick's day and still got an amazing deal. The mansion itself is beautiful. The story of the mansion is even better, make sure to browse the clipping in the main hall. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is basic but just right and the shower pressure was perfect! You will not find a better location.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and we were very happy with the city and the accommodations! The B&B was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff was above wonderful! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We will be staying here on our next trip to the area and cannot recommend it highly enough!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hubbard Mansion when we were in New Orleans for a Convention. Sheila and Mr Hubbard were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was in a wheelchair during our stay and the facility was accessible on the main level. The breakfasts were homemade and very tasty. The B&B is convenient to the Garden District, Convention Center, Magazine Street, and The French Quarter. The St Charles StreetCar is right outside. There was ample parking and it was easy to find at night. I would highly recommend staying at the Hubbard Mansion and we will definitely be return.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Hubbard Mansion, a terrific family owned and operated bed-and-breakfast located in the Garden District, and would recommend it highly to all of our friends who might be planning a trip to New Orleans in the future. The rooms are clean, well-lit, and beautifully appointed with antique furniture selected from the proprietors' personal collection. There is plenty of parking in the rear (i.e., off the street), and the St. Charles streetcar stops only 100 feet from the front door. Most importantly, though, Don and Sheila are the most gracious hosts, ever eager to please and to see to it that your stay in the city they call home is an enjoyable one. Truly, this is southern hospitality at its very finest, and if we had any regret at all, it was only that we had to go back home! Thank you again, Don and Sheila. We enjoyed meeting you, and look forward to seeing y'all again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Graceful Louis XVI reproductions (circa 1840) of walnut with lemonwood inlay recall the extravagance of Marie Antoinette. Discovered in Toulouse, France, the brass filigree period furnishings include a fabulous king bed with a triple bevel- mirrored armoire and marble-topped double dresser. Sunshine fills the room from a floor to ceiling front window overlooking historic St. Charles Avenue.
Henry II French antiques of warm walnut with pink and green floral fabrics create a magnificent aura. This room is furnished with a period queen-sized bed and matching single armoire with a full length beveled mirror. This cozy room has an equally magnificent writing table and couch.
A Charles Lock Eastlake (Am. circa 1880) mint condition half-tester double bed demonstrates the rectangular lines that are signature Eastlake. Royal red silk softens the angles of the impressive piece and matching period armoire with matching beveled glass mirror. A vintage clawfoot tub in the private bathroom offers a long, luxurious soak and enhances the period ambiance of this enchanting room.
Rich jewel tones befit the majesty of a museum quality Prudence Mallard (circa 1840-1870) four-poster, full tester king bed. The prized French Creole bed features Mallard's signature egg along with intricately carved mahogany curves. A triple rosewood French armoire balances the bed's proportions. The bells of St. Charles Avenue streetcars further remind guests of another day when time crept by and craftsmanship was prized.
Arguably the most regal, this very private room is the stuff of dreams. Folds of burgundy moiré drape regally from a custom-designed crown-canopy king bed. A marble-topped dresser, triple mahogany armoire, Rosewood 1800 slipper couch and petite writing table lend weight to the indulgent texturing. This is the room for romantics!
