  • Rex Room- located downstairs, is the largest and most popular room in the house with King Size bed and sitting area with Queen size sofa sleeper. Additionally there is outside access from this room to the porch swing.
    Front of The Stockade
    The Blue Room - located upstairs has it's own personal balcony overlooking the bluffs, this room can be joined with the Red Room to make a suite that can accommodate up to 4 people.
    The Escape is located downstairs and feature a Queen size bed and twin trundle bed. Perfect for traveling with friends or family! This extra large room and extra large bathroom is a favorite of our guests!
    View of the back patio from the Garden Room balcony...a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine!
    Come visit with your friend on the side patio and enjoy a glass of wine while you relax!
    The Welch Room at The Stockade - this cozy room is located upstairs and has a stunning King Size Rice Bed in which you surely enjoy a great night sleep!

    La palissade Bed & Breakfast situé sur le chemin de Highland historique dans State Capitol la Louisiane, Baton Rouge est commodément situés 4 milles de SJM. Nommé d'après l'Union palissade qui existaient sur la propriété pendant la guerre civile, la propriété entourée de 11 hectares de terres est sur le registre national des lieux patrimoniaux comme un site archéologique. Cinq chambres spacieuses chambres sont décorées de Louisiane originaux de Galerie du titulaire. Toutes les chambres sont élégamment nommés avec le confort moderne, y compris la télévision couleur, mini-réfrigérateurs, magnétoscope, pots de café, fers à repasser et conseils, sèche-cheveux et bains privés.     Mom and Daughters Weekend

    Great B&B. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Nice big patio which was great for relaxing. Location was convenient and close to many great restaurants. Nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and will return.

    Wonderful Experience

    This was the most beautiful B&B I've ever stayed in, and the best experience I've had in 25 years of B&Bing. The rooms and furnishings and extra details were lavishing. Hospitality was magnificent. The view from our back porch was serene. Everything was spit spot clean. Breakfast was delicious. Janice was delightful to us and our two teen daughters. I've never wanted to rave so much about a B&B.

    Spring Break is nice in Plantation Country

    The innkeeper was very accommodating and laid back. The room was lovely. The common room was spectacular. The breakfasts were among the best we've had. We appreciated the Southern cuisine: grits and crawfish etouffe, for example. The other guests were delightful as well. The Stockade is easy to find, near the University, and also near to good restaurants.

    Like A Second Honeymoon

    My husband and I enjoyed every moment of our stay at The Stockade. The location surprised us- so tucked away, yet so accessible to just about everything we love. The room was a dream- spacious, clean, and luxurious. The food was second to none- delicious AND nutritious. The service was impeccable. Janice went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time. We can't stop talking about the memories we will always have because of the awesome experience of The Stockade.

J'ai presque senti déchirée entre confort paresse et en explorant la curiosité.» ~ Vickie – Krotz Springs, en Louisiane.     Situé au deuxième étage, cette suite est fournie avec un lit queen dans la salle bleue et offre un balcon privé pour se détendre. En vedette des artistes comprennent Patti Petersen, Don Wright, Tom Onig et Nancy Harris. La salle rouge touche la Blue Room et a 2 lits jumeaux.     The Stockade was everything we were looking for: charming, historic, and very comfortable. Janice started our day with an excellent breakfast, and we liked walking across the street to several restaurants at the end of a busy day. Note to fellow birders: the nearby BREC Bluebonnet Swamp trails were very productive.

    This is my second stay at the Stockade, and it was another pleasant experience. As a business traveler I appreciate a comfortable, welcoming setting. The Stockade has everything to make me feel right at home, including an excellent home-cooked breakfast. I hightly recommend it!

    Great Southern Hospitality

    The Stockade B&B is quite a gem in a wonderful location with fabulous gardens, courtyards and landscaping. As you enter you notice a grand space with 20 foot ceilings and large windows looking out to the courtyard. Also the decor is very tasteful with original paintings and even original Audbuon and Gould bird prints!! Janice greeted me with a glass of nice white wine after I drove 14hrs to Baton Rouge. The rooms are very nice with many antiques. However the best part of the stay is the wonderful breakfast. WOW all home made and cooked to order. This is how a B&B should be!!

Continuer sur I-10 pour quitter 160 (Essen Lane). Prendre la sortie de la voie d'Essen et tourner à droite. Continuer le Sud sur la voie d'Essen. Essen va changer les noms à voie Staring @ Perkins Road. Continuer le Sud sur la voie de Staring jusqu'à ce qu'il se termine @ Highland Road (prox 3 milles ¾). LA PALISSADE est la première allée sur la gauche après que vous tournez à droite sur la route de Highland (moins de 50 mètres). Il est directement en face de LAURIERS LEA SHOPPING CENTER.
