"April 6, 2012, was the first night the Farmhouse at Veritas was opened to the public - and we were the lucky ones. My wife Beth and I had just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and we had invited 10 of our closest friends to join us for an overnight and dinner/breakfast at the Farmhouse - along with a tour/tasting of the winemaking facilities at the winery, hosted by Andrew. In short - the entire visit was wonderful! The accommodations are beautiful and were perfect for an intimate gathering of good friends. While we all had ample space to ourselves, we shared a lot of laughs and memories together, both on the main level - including the kitchen - and upstairs in the library over morning coffee and warm croissants with butter and jams. For dinner, Chef Jonathan Boroughs prepared a wonderful 4-course meal, with each course paired with a Veritas wine. The service was outstanding throughout our visit - but they also gave us our space too, which really made us feel at home. If you've ever been to the tasting room, attended a wedding at Veritas, or attended one of their Starry Nights events, you know the level of professionalism and class they extend to their customers. But if you want the best-of-the-best, plan on reserving the whole farmhouse for you and 11 of your closest friends. It will be a magical experience - one that you'll never forget, nor able to duplicate. But we'll be coming back again in April 2013 - if not before. Enjoy! "
