"I've stayed in all kinds of places in and out of country, and this was by far the most relaxing and overly accomodating place I have ever stayed. The rooms were WICKED nice way clean, comfy, and cozy. Best nights sleep I have had in the past six months. Great place to de-stress as it is on its own little peninsula. Very quiet!!!! The inn keepers were fantastic!!!! They were very nice and Greg is a phenomenal cook. They served us up some wine and cheeses on our first night in with a few other guests staying at the inn and it was a blast. The atmosphere and entertainment they provided was just what we needed to kick back and relax that first night in. Thanks guys. The location was great it was located about an hour from a few major hotspots in the state of Virginia including Williamsburg and Norfolk (location of one of the biggest naval bases in the world). Right in the heart of a lot of rich history. Not to mention it is conveniently located about five minutes from the small town of Matthews which carries with it its own homey charm. A lot of small dinners and a couple nice places to shop for home decor. If you are having trouble deciding which bed and breakfast to choose, dont even bother this is the place you want to be. Me and my girlfriend are already making plans to return this spring. Gregs breakfast alone is worth the trip!!!!"
