Ingrédients

  • 8 oz Dates
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Pecans
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Whiskey
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut dates with kitchen scissors into a bowl. Add the whiskey and vanilla to bowl and set aside.
  3. In a mixer, cream the sugar and eggs together.
  4. Slowly add, to the mixer, the sifted flour and baking soda. Then add the chopped nuts and date mixture.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Make sure the center is done to touch.
