"We have just returned from out stay at the Mermaid Inn and it was TREMENDOUS!!! Ww have lived in Connecticut all our lives and have never stayed in or experienced Mystic like we this this weekend... We arrived at the Inn and there was a note from Josephine (the owner) letting is know where our rom was and to make ourselves at home and to call her cell phone if we had any questions or problems. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very charming. Oh yea, the breakfast each day was unbelieveable, 3 courses of the most amazingly delicious and unique food. As other visitors have stated, it is in a great location withing walking distance to downtown Mystic and also the seaport. We WILL be visiting again and again and again and providing other family members with a gift to the Inn... Thanks Josephine!!!!"
