    In just three short years of excellent service and impeccable style, A Storybook Inn was chosen to be in the Top Ten Best Overall B&B's in the US! The following year, in the Top Ten in the South. Then we closed for a massive renovation to make A Storybook Inn even more exquisite for our cherished guests. Want to go to Casablanca or to the Old South or the very luxurious Somewhere In Time? You can at A Storybook Inn where the suites are tastefully designed after the classic movies they are named for. Guests from around the world have stated passionately that "Somewhere In Time" suite is the nicest suite that they have stayed in anywhere in the world! And, our wonderful new, very spacious 3.5BR and 3.5 baths "Huntsman Chase Guest House" is fantastic! Has everything you need, from full kitchen, 3 air bubble whirlpools, fireplace with gas logs, to upscale laundry. We all long for a special place where we feel welcomed and pampered in an unobtrusive way. Your search is over for an incredible destination that skillfully combines elegance with a gracious inviting ambiance. A Storybook Inn is not your "garden variety" Bed and Breakfast; finely restored and appointed, it is more like a small European luxury hotel, say our well-traveled guests...but not stuffy in the least. A Storybook Inn exists to be a lovely, peaceful haven for our cherished guests; a respite from the rest of the world. Every detail for our guest's comfort has been considered. Everything from our delightful breakfast using fresh, local ingredients in season, premium fresh ground organic coffee, painstakingly hand-selected tasteful furnishings, quality antiques, high thread count bedding, unique accessories, Wireless Internet, free movies, filtered water, air whirlpools, aromatherapy, en-suite by appointment professional Massage Therapist, acres of beautifully landscaped grounds...down to the custom "natural" toiletries...it's all for you.

    I love people. I love pampering people, especially ones that need a reprieve from too much work or just a time away from it all. I have a background in nursing, nutrition, Real Estate, and hospitality. I am gifted in interior design, gardening, and love great conversation. Love to travel and to read. I enjoy creating in the kitchen signature dishes with fresh ingredients. My friends have all commented that all of those traits point to the fact that Innkeeping is the perfect venue for me.

    Tuscan Frittata with Heirloom Tomatoes,Thick Bacon
    This is a wonderful dish made with all fresh ingredients. Fresh eggs, milk, 5 different cheeses, vegetables such as zucchini,brocoli,sweet red pepper,scallions, spices, and presented with fresh herbs. Usually served with gourmet thick sliced bacon, fresh fruit with fresh whipped cream and a sprig of mint, and homemade blueberry muffins or scones. Coffee is freshly ground Premium Organic Coffee. Orange juice is freshly squeezed in season. Or we serve other meals such as: Blackberry Breakfast Pudding w/warmed Maple Syrup and sausages, Amaretto French Toast w/ fresh fruit, Organic Blueberry Pancakes with thick sliced bacon. All breakfasts come with fresh fruit, fresh baked muffins or breads, entree, bacon or sausage if desired, juice, coffee and filtered water.

      From Lexington: Take Versailles Road into Versailles. Take a left on Main Street. Take the next right onto Rose Hill. Go 0.3 mile up the hill; turn right at the stone pillars with the Storybook Inn signs. We are the large white Colonial that sits back from the street. From Louisville: Take I-64 East to the Frankfort exit and turn right onto Highway 60. Take the scenic route past magnificent horse farms into the town of Versailles. When you approach the town, veer to the right into the town. You are on Frankfort St. which becomes Main. Go through 4 stop lights to Rose Hill and take a right. Just up the hill 0.3 miles: turn right at the stone pillars with the Storybook Inn signs. From Cincinnati: Take I-75 South to exit 115 onto Newtown Pike. Take a right on Newtown and go 1.8 miles to W New Circle Rd/KY-4/W-US60. Take W New Circle Road 4.5 miles to the first Versailles Road exit. You will be heading West [right] toward Versailles. Go 9.3 miles to Versailles to Main Street. Turn left at Main and take first right onto Rose Hill. Just up the hill 0.3 miles; turn right at the stone pillars with the Storybook Inn Signs.
