    Une auberge haut de gamme, avec une vue étonnante, sur les falaises au-dessus de beau lac Cumberland. Situé sur 10 hectares de bois piney dans la zone de loisirs de Cumberland River juste à l'extérieur de Somerset et Burnside, Kentucky. Terminé à l'automne 2004, 8 chambres; 5 avec des vues spectaculaires de lac, 3 à la recherche dans les bois. Toutes les chambres ont une entrée séparée, salle de bains privée, la plupart avec un "baignoire jacuzzi", roi lit et meublée utilisant principalement des antiquités. Un merveilleux petit-déjeuner est servi de 7 h 00 à 9 h 30. Nous avons une grande terrasse surplombant le côté lac et pays pour votre plaisir à manger et relaxant.

    Our stay was wonderful. The food was outstanding. Beautiful place with a friendly owner. Can't wait to go back.

    Wow! This place was fantastic!

    The drive out of town had us a little confused, its really was only about 2 or so miles out of town, when we got there we were so surprised. This home was built to be a Bed and Breakfast so they have all the standard conviences of a hotel but with a fabulous homey feel. The place is furnished so beautifully and they have a wonderful view of Lake Cumberland. We also really liked the friendly atmosphere and innkeeper. We will definetly be returning.

    "Lakeside" -- the name of our room, overlooking a cliff of rustling trees, focusing on Cumberland lake below. But view is the same from the living room walled with windows or the charming screened-in porch. Breakfast -- scrumptious! Hospitality -- satisfying, helpful, charming! Don't let this be your first B&B; you might find it hard to measure up to next time.

    We stayed for 2 nights in the beautiful 'Lakeside Room' with its own deck overlooking Lake Cumberland. It was marvelous!

    Just Like Home

    What a wonderful experience our family and extended family had at the Acorn and Fox Inn. Not only were we treated as family, but Myrna and Al went above and beyond our expectations. We were there during a difficult time. Having just lost my Father, we were able to have a "home" away from home while making funeral arrangements. I will never forget the hospitalilty and caring that were shown to us. Thanks again, Myrna and Al. You were truly a blessing to us. Babs and Fred Summers

    Ideal Relaxation

    My husband and I were given a weekend stay as a gift and it was a perfect getaway for relaxation. The rooms were spacious and private, comfy and home, and everything was as neat and clean as could be! The views were georgous and with the numerous decks, there were plenty of areas to sit and relax, whether you wanted to socialize or spend a bit of time alone. Myrna and Al make you feel completely at home in their lovely home. Myrna's cooking is delicious, but don't expect the stereotypical toast and bacon breakfast. We were delighted with some complex recipes that were accompanied by fresh fruit. Both my husband and I highly recommend the Acorn and Fox Inn to anyone looking to relax. The area close by is a smaller town, but there are plenty of places to shop and antique as well as a drive in movie theater. If you are willing to drive a short distance, there's also Cumberland Falls and several other nature interests to visit. HIGHLY recommend and we will be returning.
