    Da Vinci I Bedroom picture 2: Leonardo da Vinci was an artist, an inventor, a technologist of his time, and although he would be unfamiliar with the elegant Baroque style furniture, furnishings and fittings of the suites we have named after him, we like to think he would be impressed! We are sure however that you, the discerning traveller, will be!
    The luxurious 5 star Navona Garden Suites are situated behind the famous Piazza Navona at Number 73 Via del Governo Vecchio - the street of the old, or papal government - in a stunning 16th century Roman palazzo.
    Da Vinci I Bedroom picture 1: Da Vinci I is the larger of the two luxury suites. It can sleep up to 4 people in two magnificent double beds, one king-sized, the other queen-sized.
    Da Vinci II Bedroom picture 2: The elegant marble bathrooms of both suites are fully appointed with tub, shower, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and lots of soft towels.
    Da Vinci II Bedroom picture 1: The Da Vinci II suite is slightly smaller than Da Vinci I but like its larger counterpart can sleep up to 4 guests in the comfort of two double beds, both queen-sized. Remember that you are in the inner courtyard of a 15th century palazzo and walls are thick! The noise of the outside world stays outside and your rest will be undisturbed.
    We recommend taking a taxi from Termini station, the journey time is around 10-15 minutes. You can also take bus numbers 30 (express) and 64 and get off outside McDonalds on via Vittorio Emanuele - 1 stop after Largo Argentina. From here the Navona luxury suites are only a 2 minute walk away up Via del Governo Vecchio one of Rome's most charismatic streets! The buses leave termini from the bus stop just outside the station.
    Da Vinci II Bedroom picture 3: Both suites have ample storage space and all the technology Leonardo himself might have wished for - from the direct dial telephone to cable television and a wi-fi internet connection for your lap top.
    As popular wisdom would have it, real estate agents believe in three things - location, location and location - true when you are choosing your lifetime home, but equally true when you are choosing your vacation accommodation! The Navona Garden Suites are within easy walking distance of Rome's celebrated sights, like the Pantheon with its wonderfully engineered dome
    There are no cooking facilities in the suites but a full continental breakfast is served every morning, either in your room or in the garden as you prefer. Navona Garden Suites provide a maid service for daily cleaning and a laundry service by request.
    The Trevi Fountain of Dolce Vita fame, St Peter's Basilica just across the river and the splendid Piazza Navona, dominated by Bernini's baroque masterpiece , the central Fountain of the Four Rivers; all within easy walking distance!
    The Navona Garden Suites, are located in the very heart of the Eternal City, just a short stroll away from what was once the Emperor Domitian's stadium for athletic displays, the Circus Agonalis. This name, corrupted over the centuries to n'Agona, lives on in the present day Piazza Navona.

    A group stay in Rome

    Our large group of 37 (parochial school group & pastors, teachers, parents from Texas) stayed in a number of apartments during our 6 day stay in Rome. Dr. Dennis Winter and his wife Loridonna were the ultimate hosts. We felt as if we were greeted and cared for by family. The location is perfect, the accommodations wonderful. I've been to Rome a number of times, but this trip was exceptional because of the many special touches provided by our hosts. Dennis was prompt in his response to our group's request for housing information, gave us great restaurant and shopping recommendations, and tried to make certain that everyone enjoyed their stay. I can't recommend the Navona Garden Suites enough. Cheery apartments with well-equipped kitchens - significantly more room than in most hotel rooms there! Book with them - you'll be pleased!

    American Customer Service

    These are luxury accommodations right in the historical centre of Roma, they are beautiful and the location is excellent and run by an American who understands customer service like we do - a concept that is completely foreign to Italy. This makes a massive difference.

    The American Touch...

    Owned and run by an American in Rome who also has a dental practice this luxury bed and breakfast property is one of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in.... Denis comes from Colorado and he literally bends over backwards to make sure your stay in Rome is a great one... he doesn't go overboard though and knows when to leave you alone... he doesn't live on the property either which means you just come and go as you want. Location wise the Suites cannot be beat seeing as they are only 20 metres from Piazza Navona and a few hundred from the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. This is also one of the best areas in Rome for nightlife and contains some excellent restaurants.... We will never forget the Baroque architecture or the street entertainers in Piazza Navona as long as we live. Thank you Denis and thank you Rome for a wonderful holiday!
