L'intérieur de la vieille ville de Rocchetta Nervina, parmi les vieilles maisons en pierre et les arbres verts et de jasmin, glycine, nous avons créé une oasis de paix et de repos. Deux chambres confortables vous attendent sur le deuxième étage d'un édifice plus que centenaire avec des plafonds voûtés et pierres apparentes. Un environnement agréable pour profiter de vos moments de détente et d'être loin de la circulation quotidienne. La chambre "Stecadò" est entièrement peinte dans des tons lavande, la création d'un petit et intime, enveloppante, comme des draps de lin brodés à la main fraîchement lavés. La salle Menta est peinte à la main dans des tons délicats de menthe verte. Le lit en fer forgé et tissus anciens pourpre enrichir l'environnement et rendre l'atmosphère plus élégant et intrigant. Les chambres sont toutes équipées de salle de bain privée et lit double. Les matelas en mousse à mémoire sont faits de latex, des nouveaux matériaux à la chaleur du corps s'adapte parfaitement à votre forme dans un cadre accueillant étreinte de cocooning. "La Maison de la Hole" est un mini-appartement entièrement rénové avec des murs en pierre, en une belle cuisine (cuisinière à gaz, réfrigérateur, évier), petite chambre, salle de bains et chambres, situé dans un grenier romantique.

If you ever wondered how it'd be like to live in one of those hundreds years looking small Italian houses, then you'd have to stay at this place.. The place where we stayed was like a tiny apartment. We'd go up on a small red ladder to the bedroom loft. The whole idea was so new and interesting to us, and the bedroom section was very nice & clean. The owner was extremely friendly! This town (Rocchetta Nervina) is really, really beautiful and it has a gorgeous hiking trail in the canyon. We found this place just on our way from one destination to another, but this town actually became one of our favorite memories in this entire trip. It was especially nice b/c we were a little tired from other cities that were too touristic and no real Italian experiences. Just a couple of things to note: The owner writes very good English in the emails, but in person, we had to communicate in French; The breakfast at this place is different from other B&Bs. It's a breakfast basket with pre-packaged breads and yogurts etc. It's full of goodies like snack bags etc, but if you want fresh breads and cappuccino, that's not in this basket.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, charming and quirky. The breakfast in the cafe was excellent. Most amazing, however, was the town itself, a medieval stone city built on a steep hillside. Many delightful little passages and piazzas to explore. The local area offers climbing, canyoning, and many outdoor activities. Simona is an excellent hostess. Many thanks for the memorable stay -- I've already recommended it to my friends. Kim
