  • Guests can relax in the small, furnished garden which has a children’s play area. The outdoor pool features a large sunbathing area with sun beds. Bikes can be rented on-site.
    Just one kilometre from the Pompeii archaeological site and near Sorrento, Naples and Amalfi Coast, Bed and Breakfast Il Fauno offers free Wi-Fi,parking and pool. Rooms have a balcony with views over the garden and towards Mount Vesuvius.
    Every room has private bathroom for the exclusive use (shower,toiletries,towels, hair dryer).The beds are very comfortable with memory foam mattresses and pillows, high quality. I feel like sleeping in the clouds.In every room: air conditioning(in summer),heating(in winter),TV-LCD 26" with DVD, minibar,safebox,Internet WIFI connection, Tea Kettle, brochures and tourist information, private entrance with free return. All the rooms are overlooking the garden always in bloom with gazebo view on Vesuvius.
    The rich breakfast buffet with homemade cakes and jams (with gluten-free products upon request), and pressed orange juice, croissants, 3 types of cereal, yogurt and sweets of the Neapolitan tradition, cheeses and cold cuts, bread, fruit,the bacon,eggs,fried tomatoes and baked beans .
    Only 1 km from the Main Entrance of Archeological Site of Pompeii. We offer free transfer for the Station Circumvesuviana.
Our B & B is located just 1 kilometers from the Pompeii archaeological site and from the Sanctuary of Pompeii (accessible both on foot, leaving your car at our B & B) and is located in a quiet and central position for exploring the wonders Campania. In fact we are only 500 meters from the train station Circumvesuviana, from which you can easily reach: Sorrento (22 km - 25 minutes with car or train), Naples (24 km - 25 minutes with car or train), Salerno (24 km - 25 minutes with car or train), Amalfi Coast : Positano, Amalfi, Ravello (38 km - 35 minutes with car, bus from Sorrento or boat from Salerno), Herculaneum Ruins (20 km - 20 minutes with car or train), Mount Vesuvius (18 km - 25 minutes with car or bus from Pompeii), Capri (only 15 minutes with boat from Sorrento), Beaches and temples of Paestum ( 50 km - 50 minutes with car or train )

    Great place to stay

    Great place to stay. Upon arrival, the owners greeted us home-made cakes and a shot of liqueur. They also provided us with a very helpful information booklet with everything you'd beed to know about the area. They had convenient secure parking, an amazing breakfast, really clean rooms. Everything felt very homely and comfortable. There's an amazing pizza place down the road for dinner (they also do pastas).

    Relaxing stay

    Well worth the 40 minute train trip out of Naples, clean and a breath of fresh air. Hosts couldn't have done more for us including home made cake and cool juice on arrival. Room was spacious and quiet, the local pizza restaurant was also great value. If you are thinking of staying in Naples as a base for exploring, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento etc, make the trip and stay here instead.

    A lovely B+B situated not to far from the main sites of Campania

    Arrived a earlier than planned and felt immediately made welcome. Breakfast was of a high standard and Eduardo's mothers cakes were wonderful. The welcome pack was a superb idea and we were very happy to have it. (Maps, guide to the area etc) The family room was large in size clean and adequate for our needs. We were watching DVD's on a laptop, when coming back after a day trip a DVD player had appeared. Wonderful customer service. Would have been nice to have wifi in the family room, without having to go into the breakfast room. The only minor complaint is the area surrounding the B+B, imagine latin America and you'd be close. However once you meet the people they take your heart. Absolutely superb people. I left every restraunt with a full belly and not much spent out of 20 euro! My car felt safe and so did my belongings. Recommended A-, little more would get you the full A+. Spot on for the money. Loved this b+b :)

    The best place near Pompeii Ruins

    We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this B&B. It is absolutely beautiful. Eduardo was kind enough to drive us into town on his way to run some errands. The breakfast area is spacious and comfortable. We were thrilled that it was within walking distance of the ruins.
