The Bed and Breakfast Stupor Mundi is the exact answer to the request for a comfortable accommodation to stay in the “lounge of Palermo”, in one of the most important avenues of the city, between the two main monuments: Teatro Politeama and Teatro Massimo. An excellent solution, in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of Palermo: in the shopping area, a short walk from the bus stop linking with all destinations – including the airports of Palermo and Trapani, just meters from the Harbor and 15 min. from Central Station.
The “master suite” takes its name from one of the theaters of Palermo: The Politeama! Inside, the Sicilian artist Francesco Collura has created two paintings: one depicting “The Triumph of Apollo and Euterpe”, work of bronze present above the entrance of the theater, and one that represents the first opera staged in June 1874 “I Capuleti ei Montecchi” by Vincenzo Bellini. Inside the room also a nice collection of books.

“Chic”, from the French, translates to elegant: hence the name of this room, with en suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking Via Mariano Stabile . The perfect “shabby” style of the room is one of the flagships of the structure.
The master bedroom, with en suite bathroom, has a nice balcony overlooking Via Mariano Stabile. The name is inspired by decorative details that recall some of the symbols of our island – as the prickly pears. Inside offers a nice collection of books.
