    In Ferrara, a few steps away from Estense Castle, and from Palazzo dei Diamanti, is Horti della Fasanara, one of the most fascinating places in the city, where history, art and nature stay together as one in an enchanted renaissance environment. An historic residence of the IX century, beautifully renovated, stylish and refined, for travellers who love peace and harmony, culture and an accesible luxury. A place to be discovered magically, during spring and summer evenings when the lights go down and one can appreciate details, colours, smells of the place. The villa is located inside a park that once was the game reserve of Este aristocratic people, in an environment of rare beauty. Surrounded by a 2.5 acres park, with ancient trees the villa represents an inspiration for any kind of event (parties, weddings, gala dining and so on). A hundred yards away from here, cars run far from this “countryside inside the city” that resists unchanged from Renaissance, when Biagio Rossetti extended the walls enclosing the city.       VILLA HORTI DELLA FASANARA is located in a place named by Ferrara Comune "THE COUNTRYSIDE INSIDE FERRARA RENAISSANCE WALLS ; OF THE OVERALL LENGHT OF approximately 9 Km, along the cycle lane that, starting from th Porta degli Angeli (Gate of Angels), at the end of Corso Ercole I ;Este, characterized by a fortification dating back to 1525 known as the Casa del Boia (House of the Executioner) from where a long time ago one could spot the estense; residences of Belfiore and Barchetto, continues along the embankment to Punta della Montagnola (Tip of the little mountain), a place often at the center of strange events, some real and some mythical, and then gets through a green area wich features several different gardens, to finally reach via delle Erbe and Piazza Ariostea, a symbol of the Addizione Erculea (Ercole Addition a set of costruction works ordered by Ercole I Este), dating back to the end of the 1400 and the beginning of 1500.
