    La restauration du palais Fiumi-LaPlaca a été achevée en 2008. L'entrée est à Piazza Preziotti 4
    La Chambre d'amis « Giallo » est située à l'étage principal du palais avec accès au salon principal de piano nobile. La chambre à coucher surplombe la terrasse plantée et possède une salle de bains privée.
    Décollage une charge en chaise confortable du « Giallo ».
    Chambre d'hôtes « Azzurro » a magnificent deux lits jumeaux, une vue sur la vallée de Spoleto avec assise dans la distance. Elle a aussi une salle de bains privée.
    Le « Studiolo » est au large de la Chambre d'amis « Azzurro ».
    Le salon principal du piano nobile.
    Cuisine principale du palais, où sont tiennent les cours de cuisine est tout de suite la terrasse principale.
    Habituellement, les repas sont servis sur la terrasse au large de la cuisine.
    À manger hall principal au rez-de-chaussée où de nombreux repas sont servis.

    More than a bed and breakfast

    Did you ever wish you had this really cool friend who lived in Italy—in a beautiful palazzo in a charming hilltown—who just loved having guests? Well, you do. Michael La Placa calls his establishment a “Bed and Breakfast”, but it is so much more, and so much better. His palazzo, built in the 17th century, has been lovingly and tastefully restored by Michael himself. It retains all of its old world charm, but is extremely comfortable, with great bathrooms and amenities. It is located in the small and endlessly picturesque town of Bettona, a stone’s throw from Assisi and Perugia. I have been three times in a row during the summer. If you want to be on your own, that’s fine, but Michael is most willing to be your guide to the wonders of Umbria, which he knows extremely well. In addition to the obvious tourist spots, like Assisi, he’s shown me wonderful off-the-beaten-track spots, like the Church of San Franceso in the village of Montefalco, with marvelous Renaissance frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli. (We were the only ones in the church!) You will take back wonderful memories and be eager to return often.

    Sometimes you find a project that changes your life completely. Restoring this palazzo did just that for me. After 3 years of restoration, the palazzo is filled with life and functioning as more than just a B&B. Living in the small town of Bettona has also been a revelation for me. We've been welcomed into a community of warm and friendly people where there is always something to do. The dogs and I couldn't be happier sharing our piece of Italy with you.
