La Mansion Schenck est une salle 35 maison construite par riverboat captian Benjamin Franklin Schenck en 1874. Cinq de nos chambres ont des bains privés avec les tubes de cuivre revêtement intérieur d'origine. Chambre d'Eugénie dispose d'une chambre de bonus qui peut être ajoutée pour un petit frais. Nous vous proposons un petit déjeuner de pays complète avec café et jus de fruits frais. Tous inclus dans le tarif de la chambre. Occupation double. Décorées d'antiquités périodes élégantes et reproductions. Une véritable étape remonter dans le temps lorsque vous séjournez à ce manoir sur la colline surplombant la ville de Vevay de petite rivière pittoresques, Indiana.

You really need to see the mansion in person....it is beyond GRAND. Lisa and Jerry, along with their staff, will make your stay a memorable one also. The home, the grounds, the porches....I could go on and on. Staying once, we were called back to return, and I feel sure it won't be our last visit. Thank you! A sisters' trip the first time, then we just had to share it with our husbands.

Pictures on the website at http://www.schenckmansion.com/ don’t do justice to the beautiful Schenck Bed and Breakfast at Vevay, Indiana. The mansion was built by Benjamin F. Schenck in the 1870s on the banks of the Ohio River about an hour's drive midway between Louisville and Cincinnati. After the building fell into disrepair and was finally abandoned, it was purchased by Lisa and Jerry in 1998 and lovingly restored. They have gone above and beyond what one might expect in order to preserve the beauty of the mansion and daily make every effort to provide for the comfort and pleasure of their guests. The five guest rooms/suites available at the mansion are quite spacious with plush carpeting, elegant furnishings and working fireplaces. The private baths are one of the few places in existence where guests can relax or shower in an original copper tub. Amenities include a wonderful breakfast prepared by Lisa and Jerry and home baked cookies for an evening snack. With a little encouragement, Lisa will share the long and interesting history of the home. And guests are encouraged to explore all 35 rooms of the mansion at their leisure. A night or two at the mansion is just the ticket for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or, perhaps, a bit of romance. The cost is surprisingly inexpensive, and once you’ve visited the first time, chances are you’ll come back again and again. It's hard to imagine a nicer, cleaner or more elegant B&B!

We stayed 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday, January 16 & 17, 2010. Our room was on the first floor and was the largest room we have ever stayed in at at B & B. Our room and the entire mansion were exceptionally immaculate! Everything from the furniture, linens, and food was top notch. Although the mansion is large, it was very comfortable and very welcoming. We definitely will stay again!!! Thanks Lisa and Jerry for a wonderful stay at your establishment.

May husband and I stay here every year for our Halloween anniversary. Lisa is a gem, warm and accomodating and very interesting. She has lovingly restored the mansion and it is absolutely stunning. We love this bed & breakfast and can't imagine staying any other place.

Lisa, owner, is a such a joy and made us feel right at home. The mansion is awesome and the bed was possibly the most comfortable bed in which I have slept. I can't wait to go back to this charming town, but most importantly this great place to stay. My husband and I are so glad we found it!
