En octobre 2002, Karl et Dorothee Gossel a acheté la maison avec l'intérêt d'accueillir les visiteurs dans la région et à préserver un morceau de l'histoire du Macomb. Dorothee exploité un Bed & Breakfast en Allemagne sur le île de Fehmarn dans la mer Baltique. Le logo de la Inselhaus affiche la carte de le île de Fehmarn.

I recently stayed at the Inselhaus while doing a speech at Western Illinois University. In short, Dorothee has perfected the art of hosting. Coffee was delivered to my room for walkup, breakfast was delicious, and the home is stunning. My room was comfortable, well decorated, and the sheets were cozy. The icing on the cake was that Dorothee packed me a breakfast for my 7 am train and drove me to the station!!! A+++++ !

As a musician I travel and have the pleasure of seeing and staying in many places. The Inselhaus is an oasis of simple elegance. Not pretentious but first class all the way. Everything has been thought of by Dorothee -- The best innkeeper and tour guide to your stay. More than just a place to stay, I will come back!

This was our first stay at a B&B and we will definitely come back to this one and try others. Dorothee makes sure everything is perfect, and it was charming, warm, inviting. The food & accommodations were perfect.

This was my first B&B experience and I absolutely loved it! Dorothee was so much fun and so friendly. The room was amazing, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was served at a large table with other guests and was delicious. She had wine waiting on us when we arrived and we were served coffee on the porch early in the morning. Such a delight and we had a private jewelry showing. What more could you ask for! Would definitely go there again!

This inn is beautifully decorated to maintain the integrity of a time gone by while offering all the conveniences of modern technology. Service is the best you will ever receive at a B&B.

My husband and I recieved a stay at the Inselhaus for a wedding gift. it was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had. The room was beautiful, the Innkeeper Dorathee was outstanding! Breakfast in a word was YUM-O! We can not wait to return!

My stay at the Inselhaus was the most delightful I have ever experienced at a bed in breakfast. Dorothee is the perfect hostess, combining wit, humor, and hospitality in a manner that made made me feel at home but also pampered. She went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed, and the breakfast was outstanding!

Inselhaus pain doré.
Dans un petit bol de battre les 3 oeufs et 6 Tblsp peach preserve. Battre la crème de 3/4 c. Place 6 tranches d'une journée de vieux pain sans croûte et bas dans 11 x 7 ich cuisson plat. Verser le mélange oeuf sur pain et réfrigérer jusqu'au lendemain. Dans un petit bol beat 1/2 c conserver et 4 Tblsp beurre jusqu'à moelleux. À servir le temps, faire fondre Tblsp 2 dans la poêle, ajouter 3 tranches de pain et cuire à feu médicale jusqu'à ce que le doré, la transformer en une seule fois. Retirez et tenir chaud. Faire cuire les autres tranches de pain. Servir chaque français faire griller avec 1 Tblsp peach beurre et d'amandes grillées et de sucre en poudre.Options repas
