The Harrison Fisher Room is a nice large room with a sense of antiquity, comfort, and romance. Opens out onto a lovely patio with firepit table.
For our traveling singles. Right out the window is a beautiful rock alcove - thus the name the Rock Room. Comfey and charming!
Soak in our lovely hot tub while enjoying the beautiful out-of-doors. The stars at night are sensational!

We spend the first night of our honeymoon at Ida-Home and received such a blessing from Al (Mureen was gone). Breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Perfect place to spend a vacation!!!

Al and Maureen are naturally gifted when it comes to hospitality and catering to your particular dietary desires, with palate-pleasing creations served with all the flare you'd expect from a 5 star restaurant! An overnight stay in this quiet pine-forested setting is insuffieent time to experience the many thoughtful touches that await you at the Ida Home Bed and Breakfast.

Al & Maureen were gracious hosts. They made us feel comfortable and added thoughtful, personal touches during our stay. It was our first anniversary and it was wonderful.

I loved the fact that they served gluten free/sugar free food. I have special diet needs and Al and Maureen were very accommodating and sensitive to my diet. They even served a xylitol syrup (just for me) for the gluten free pancakes. I felt so special and never once did they make me feel awkward or guilty. If I lived closer I would go there more often just to get away. The whole experience was amazing, relaxing and peaceful. They really know how to treat their guests. Thank you Maureen and Al! Sandy F. Al is Canadian who used to work for IBM and then moved on to owning his own contracting business. Loves the out-of-doors and is very handy at keeping our B&B in tip-top-shape. Maureen was an organic gardner and herbalist. Both love the PNW and entertaining guests in their home.

I was in Post Falls for business and prefer to try "out of the ordinary" places to stay-makes my trips more interesting. The hospitality was wonderful, Maureen and Al are such nice people. I had the treat of seeing some deer and turkeys, very lovely grounds and very private. I normally bring my own bedding (I'm fussy about "hotel sheets"), but next time I won't bother-their bedding is nicer than a Four Season's resort!! Thanks again Al and Marueen! Cyndi

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Maureen et Al, les hôtes de cette charmante maison, très au calme à la lisière des bois. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Le petit déjeuner maison préparé par Maureen et servi sur la terrasse est un moment très agréable. De plus, Maureen et Al sont très attentionnés et donnent d'excellents conseils pour visiter cette région de Coeur d'Alène. Jean-Michel France

My sister and I visited this B&B for a quiet sister weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better place, better hosts, and better gluten free food! It was totally awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone!

WEST-BOUND I-90 FROM COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO: (15 minutes away) 1. In Post Falls, Idaho, take exit #5 marked "Spokane Street" 2. At the bottom of the exit turn left and go south on Spokane Street. Cross over the Spokane bridge and travel through a small residential area. 3. VEER TO THE RIGHT on West Riverview Drive and go up hill. You will then be in the foothills and will encounter several hairpin curves after-which the road will straighten out and you will see homes ONLY on the left-hand side of the road. 4. *Look for the black mailbox marked #16310 (which will be 2.5 miles from exit #5.) 5. Turn into driveway and you will see a 2-story late-1800's home with a white picket fence and a veranda. 6. GO TO THE RIGHT AROUND THAT HOME and you will then see a long driveway going back 1/3 mile to our blue/grey home in the back. YOU HAVE ARRIVED AT "IdaHome B&B"!!!
