"It is rare to find a place that exceeds one’s expectations, especially after having read the reviews prior to making a reservation. This gem did. After picking up our key from Miriam, we found Unit 2 to be lovely and welcoming; we just stood and smiled after opening the door. The living area was spacious, the kitchen well-stocked, the bed comfortable, and the craftsmanship obvious. That first evening we sat on the deck overlooking neighboring farms, listened to the clip clop of passing buggies, and relaxed. We are both photographers, and this location was ideal because of the easy access to the back country roads, both paved and unpaved, that wind past the working farms and businesses away from the commercial tourist attractions. It is also an easy drive to the Holmes County Trail for biking. It was well worth the trip, and we will definitely return."
