    One of the highlights in March in Oberrotweil: The Red Wine Night Festival in the cellars of the local winegrowers' cooperative with a tasty dinner and at each course another red wine, live music, all you want to know about red wine and ample opportunity to taste the treasures of the cellar.
    Spring comes early to the Kaiserstuhl hills, because they belong to the warmest regions in Germany. Here you see an almond tree in full blossom in March and a language student from Russia.
    The Kaiserstuhl hills are a beautiful spot at any season.

    The largest of our guestrooms: a bright and friendly studio room beneath the roof provides ample space for two, three or a whole family.
    This is the third guestroom at the Language Guesthouse: During the peak season it is rent as a double room. Around the year it serves as a living room for all guests with books, board games, TV, music set and piano.
    Discover your creative talent at the Language Guesthouse! Crafts are made of plywood using a mechanical scrollt saw and variegated in colours with acrylic paint. The scroll saw technique is a wonderful hobby, which provides a wide range of creative possibilities for beginners and masters. Chances are that it won't release you any more after you have tasted blood.

    Helpful Hostess

    Anne was a wonderful hostess. Very personal and helpful with information, directions and recommendations as to what to do. Sharing breakfast with her was delightful. The room opened to a balcony with large glass windows that gave us no privacy. The bathroom upstairs was very nice.

    Room and bathroom were wonderful. And breakfast on the balcony was delicious !! (missed only an egg). Very Recommendable !! We will certainly return if we pass through again. The innkeeper is a great hostess !!

    I recently stayed for two nights and I wish I could have stayed longer. Really comfortable contemporary facilities located in a lovely rural village setting. The host is very welcoming and very helpful and encourages every opportunity to sample German culture whether through interaction with other guests or getting out into the local country side. The accommodation is very comfortable and breakfast is excellent. The area is beautiful, the local restaurants are very good, and the German beer is excellent.     Very good location and very kind hostess

    Very good location, if you want to visit the area between Colmar and Freiburg. The cosy apartment we stayed in for 3 nights was fully furnished with everything necessary to feel at home and the breakfast was wonderful. Ms Kowalski was very friendly, gave us useful advice for travelling around and we were surprised to discover that with such an experimented teacher was a pleasure to have an easy talk in German even with our basic knowledge. There are many things to see in the area and it is a very good place to combine travelling with language learning.

    Througout l'année que cette salle du premier étage est notre salon. Il a aménagés avec une bibliothèque de la maison, un piano, la télévision et la musique jeux. Il peut être utilisé par tous les invités à répondre et commnicate. En haute saison ou pour un groupe qui ont besoin de plus d'une chambre double, il facilement peut être convertie en une chambre spacieuse et confortable. Il a un balcon, d'où vous pouvez, assis dans la chaise berçante, admirer la vue au parc de la vinerie dans la rue. Une petite salle de bains (toilettes/lavabo) est la porte à côté. Uniquement pour avoir un bain ou une douche, que vous devez aller au 1er étage à salle de bains des invités la grande.

    The apartment's size is 55 sqm and suitable for 2-4 pers. It is located on the raised ground floor (4 steps) and suitable also for slightly handicapped guests. In the big room are double bed (160x200 cm), desk, wardrobe, easy chair. In the bright living hall a sofa bed, TV, telephone.The kitchen is equipped with dining corner and all self catering facilities, the bathroom with tub. The big room has parquet floor, the other rooms tiles. Internet access (DSL) available. In the patio an outdoor sitting area amidst of mediterranean plants and flowers invites to to have meals or to take a rest.

    A very Nice stay at your B&B in our sommerholiday

    I can purely recommend others to stay at your B&B for a couple of days if you want to be taken well care of with a very good service and a personal and friendly talk to your breakfast and other times if you wants it. The little town and the area around it is very interesting, beautiful, quiet and very lokal. We can also recommend the cosy restaurents in this smal city and all the winefields around it. All in all a very nice and pleasent stay for 2 nights which I think we would like to do again. Anna Kowalski - thank You for all.
