    Fall is a special time at Autumn Nest B&B! The North Georgia Mountains come alive with colors! Enjoy our famous Ellijay Apple Festival in the fall. Of course summer is full of lake activities including pontoon rentals at the marina only 10 minutes away, or bring your own boat.
    The Bear Room offers a king size bed and an in suite bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub! This room has it's own private entrance. The room is over sized with knotty pine walls, ceilings and beams. Upon your arrival you will find your room nicely appointed with luxury linens and spotlessly clean. The room is equipped with a TV/DVD/VHS, CD player, sitting area and table and chairs. Outside you have your own deck area with table and chairs for you to enjoy those views, views, views!!!
    The Lake Suite is our largest suite and offers a queen size bed and a romantic fireplace! There is an in suite bathroom with a shower. There is also a washer and drier which is perfect for longer stays. This suite has it's own private entrance. Upon your arrival you will find your room nicely appointed with luxury linens and spotlessly clean. The room is equipped with a TV/DVD, CD player, hairdryer, sitting area, table and chairs. You also have an outdoor sitting area and you're just steps away from the hot tub!
    The game room is known as the "Yankee Dollar Saloon". Rack em' up and have some fun shooting pool, or throw a few darts while you watch your favorite team on the TV. Enjoy complimentary sodas while you relax in this North Georgia Mountain getaway!

    Great Getaway!

    We stayed at Autumn Nest a couple weekends ago and found it to be everything and more than what we expected! Jim and Claudia (the owners) were very kind and made us feel like we were at home. The scenic views at the bed and breakfast are breath-taking. The breakfasts and endless-pot dinner were all abundant and wonderful! We took advantage of nearly everything the B&B has to offer – shooting pool, playing cornhole, walking the hiking trails to the Cove, and enjoying the hot tub. We were only able to stay for the weekend, but it was a perfect getaway and we would have loved to stay longer! We will definitely be going back!

    Serenity in the Spring

    What a beautiful haven nestled in the mountains! Our spring getaway to Autumn Nest surprisingly exceeded our high expectations. Jim and Claudia are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home with luxury accommodations, spectacular views, and delicious homemade breakfasts. Each morning we looked forward to visiting with Jim and Claudia and enjoying the fresh flowers, charming table settings, relaxing music, breathtaking scenery, and culinary delights. In fact, our morning meals were so pleniful that we didn't need to eat lunch! From the moment we entered the wisteria archway, we could feel the stress release, and after four days in the mountains, we were refreshed! We would love to return and highly recommend this delightful inn.

    Best B&B

    My husband and I have been to several B&B's and enjoyed each one. However this one topped them all. We were pleasantly surprised at how roomy and classy our room was. We enjoyed the hot tub, the bonfire, the wonderful hospitality of Jim and Claudia, but the definite highlight was the cuisine. Claudia and Jim put much thought and effort and great talent into making our patio breakfast a true feast. We were waited on hand and foot and felt right at home. Thanks for taking such good care of us, we'll definitely be back! Mark and Cecilia

    Great time here

    We stayed at the Autumn Nest last week for the first time and this is a great place. We come to the area at least twice a year from Atlanta. We were pleasantly surprised with this delightful bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Bear Room which was spotlessly clean and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the deck and views. Our hosts were spectacular with awesome breakfasts each morning. There was so much great food! Loved the hike to the cove each morning and hiking the other lake trails. This is the cleanest and quietest lake we've seen in GA. Really beautiful. This destination has a lot to offer for everyone.

    This B&B is Wonderful

    Our friends and my husband and I found this online and made a reservation for their weekday stay special. We had never been to the area before. Have to say that this is a wonderful place for a great getaway! We all loved our rooms and the food was too darn good! Our hosts were great. They gave us ideas for our day trips and great local restaurants. What a wonderful relaxing getaway we had. Loved it!

    The room we stayed in was very clean but was right off the main house and the owners are right above you so you can hear them walking around (so you think if you can hear them, surely they can hear you)and they have a precious little dog that barks around 7am. The owners are precious people but it was like going to stay at your moms house for the weekend.

    I went with my husband to get away, and we had a very nice time. We took a long, hike down to the lake, in the woods. And to make it even better Claudia and Jim were very nice people. We felt like we were at a friend's house, and it was the first time we had met them. We will be coming back!

    Mountain Paradise

    We love, love, love this place! Great food, wonderful rooms and beds, and what spectacular views! Love the lake, woods and quaint towns nearby. If you are looking for a great getaway from the stresses of life, come here. We stayed only a weekend, but feel so refreshed now. I need a frequent stay card! LOL Claudia and Jim are the perfect hosts, and great cooks too. I miss my morning coffee on the deck! Thanks again!

Of course an early morning cup of Jim's coffee on the deck while watching the deer graze is everyone's favorite morning activity! Gourmet to just plain goooood!!
