This was a great place to stay. An oasis just far enough away from town for peace and quiet but close enough to grab dinner or drinks without questioning the drive. We have already made plans to stay during a winery tour.
My husband and I booked this stay from the online pictures and great reviews. We were so happy with our choice! The room was cozy and pretty and VERY clean. The breakfast was amazing both mornings. What a great start to get us ready for a day of exploring Fredericksburg and visiting wineries !! I would highly recommend this B&B. We stayed in the Buona Sera room. It's a perfect romantic room for 2 !!!
Our second year at Barons CreekSide was even better than the first. The accommodations are outstanding The Grindlewald cabin has been our choice for the first two stays but next year we will be trying another. Can't wait until next year.
This is the fourth time I have stayed at Barons and each time I love it more. The cabins are beautifully furnished, the beds are comfy and we enjoyed the fire and the Jacuzzi. Daniel is a perfect host and has recently added a wonderful Blues Club on the property so we were able to walk over there for appetizers and listened to some really great live music.
We absolutely LOVED our stay! The cabins looked so beautiful from the outside and the property was so nice and well maintained. We stayed at the Mesquite Farmhouse - personally this was the most perfect place to stay. It was very private. The is a private dog run out back that my 2 Border Collies had a blast at. The backyard was plenty big, perfect for an intense game of Frisbee with them. There is a full sized kitchen, and BBQ grill outback. The best part is unwinding after a long day in the hot tub. The house is uniquely decorated and the beds were comfy!
We rented the Master Suite at Das Garten Haus this weekend. It was spacious, had lots of natural light, the bed was unbelievably comfortable...in fact we got in a few unexpected naps while we were there. Lynn is super sweet, and the location can't be beat. It's off the Main Street so you miss the noise and the traffic, but it's walking distance from where you want to be in Fredericksburg. We will definitely be back!
We absolutely loved our stay at Camp Comfort! The rooms were beautiful and cozy, and the picturesque setting was perfect for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. We absolutely recommend Camp Comfort for your next stay in the Hill Country!
We had our wedding at the Trois Estate and spent a long weekend there with our wedding party. The Estate is absolutely gorgeous! The views of Enchanted Rock and the Texas Hill Country are breathtaking. The estate is away from city life and definitely takes you back to a simpler time. This is not your traditional hotel, so if that’s your style you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want a bit of adventure and memorable experience, this is your place. The venue is clean, breakfast is delicious, and the all the staff are so friendly! We cannot wait to go back and our guests could not stop telling us about how much they loved the venue and want to go back themselves!
This was the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at! The facilities were immaculate and the cottage where we stayed was the perfect place to enjoy some rest. No offense to the other b & b's in Fredericksburg, but I can't imagine a better one, so I'll keep coming back here. Ben
My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting the Texas Wine Country to attend a wedding. We discovered The Italian Place while searching for a Bed & Breakfast near the winery where the wedding was being held (only a 5 minute drive). We were SO incredibly pleased with our decision! Bill and Amber were so hospitable and the Bellissimo loft was just a comfy as home. They thought of everything! We came home that night to an assortment of food (meant for breakfast in the morning) which we couldn't help but devour on the spot. There was fruit, chocolate, champagne and quiche! Like I said, they thought of EVERYTHING! And my husband had to ask for the quiche recipe...nothing I make is ever that good! We will definitely be back out to stay at Amber and Bill's spot again very soon!
This was a last minute trip we planned for our anniversary. My husband was concerned about getting a bed and breakfast because he wanted privacy. Well, this place had privacy! Perfect separate apartments with only an outdoor common space. Which was beautiful and serene. I wanted good food and snacks. We ordered the cheese plate which had a perfect assortment of cheeses and fruit, our fridge had breakfast ready, and the stove top had the BEST pumpkin muffins ever. SO, I was satisfied, my husband was satisfied, and we would def. do it again!
I have wanted to stay at a B&B in Fredericksburg for years! This year my Fiancé surprised me for my 35th birthday on the 4th of July. He did his homework and found the best B&B in the area. The 2-course prepared breakfasts are AH-mazing and should never be missed. Please visit Claude and Lisa at the Magnolia House, you won't be disappointed!
If you are looking for a place to stay in Fredericksburg, you have to stay at Lillie Marlene! Pat and Marlene were the perfect hosts. They made sure we had everything we could want. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing everyday! The homemade pastries will blow your mind. Not only is the house a perfect romantic retreat, but it is also just a couple of blocks from Main Street. We will definitely be returning to Lillie Marlene soon. Again, thank you for everything!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday and it was perfect! We stayed in the Master Suite and everything was very clean when we showed up and the king sized bed was super comfortable. Lynn left us delicious baked goods and greeted us with maps of the area and answered all of our questions about the area so we could really enjoy and plan out our weekend. It was nice to go out the door and enjoy breakfast in their garden, very relaxing. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants a weekend away in Fredericksburg.
Great property to get away and unplug for a romantic getaway. You can't go wrong with the individual privacy of each cabin and the proximity to wonderful Fredericksburg and the hill country. We Will return
The Bella Vista Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon! It's so peaceful and you have lots of privacy, but it is not too far away from down town Fredricksburg. The views are incredible, and there are deer and other wildlife at all hours of the day. We can't wait to come back!!!
Our stay at The Italian Place could not have been better. A mini vacation with my mom proved to be fantastic and all because of the accommodations. Thank you again Bill and Amber for a wonderful vacation-one we will definitely repeat!!! Best Wishes Tiina and Tanja
Nice clean old farmhouse with beautiful surrounding wood decking. Lots of serene wildlife with peace& quiet but yet, really close to town for shopping, eating, etc. make sure you visit Lukenbach just a few short miles away!
We stayed at a total of 5 hotels/B and Bs during our recent trip, and Camp Comfort was definitely the highlight. The rooms are gorgeous, it really is as great as the photos on the website. The rooms are very comfortable, great beds, very soft bedding. As others have said, the attention to detail is great. The Social Hall is a lovely space for breakfast, with plenty of options to help yourself - muffins, muesli, breads, yoghurts, juices. The outdoor seating a fire pits are lovely and Phil gave us some help in getting a good fire going! Comfort is a great base to explore the area. Highs Cafe is excellent for breakfast or lunch and Comfort Pizza was surprisingly excellent. There is also a really good antique mall. Camp Comfort is very cool, great place to chill or to explore the Hill Country.
Lynn and Kevin both made me feel so welcome. The rooms and the grounds were just beautiful. Lynn also served the two best breakfasts that I have ever eaten. There were also the little touches like homemade cookies in the room and all different snacks. Anyone would glad to stay here.
My wife and I picked Cat's Meow for our 1st year Wedding Anniversary! We were definitely not disappointed. Our cabin was gorgeous, decorated with great taste and clean. This lovely Bed and Breakfast is only a 15 minute drive to Fredericksburg, therefore we were able to go out and come back at night without any problems. We'll definitely come back soon. This was way much better than staying in an Hotel!
My girlfriend and I recently stayed in the Geneva cabin for three nights and it blew us away! The owners are great people who seem to enjoy everything about what they're doing. They were quick to respond to requests and the overall experience was fantastic! We both agreed that if we had another day we would have spent the whole thing in the cabin and on the Barrons Creekside site.
