Welcome to the very heart of Le Marais district of Paris, a charming and much sought-after setting, within walking distance - safe at all times of the day or night - of the most popular and well-known locations in the heart of Paris. Our house, which we have faithfully preserved and restored over the last 25 years with a genuine respect for the memory of "old" Paris, was built in 1609 and faces Rue Charlot in the front and looks over a courtyard in the back. Our 3 independent rooms, with original solid old stones and exposed beams, have been renovated with contemporary design and décor resulting in a completely private and peaceful bed-and-breakfast haven; one of the best in the Paris area. After a peaceful night, you will breakfast on Jean-Luc's honey and Denise's homemade jams with our local boulangerie baguettes. So explore our site to find more about our b&b and then book with us for your trip to Paris. We are looking forward to your visit and to making your stay in Paris a memorable one!

We could not have hoped for a better accommodations or hosts in Paris. Jean-Luc and Denise were so helpful with specific recommendations and welcomed us into their lovely bnb. It was great to meet other travelers each morning before we were off for a day of sight seeing. We found Le Marais to be charming, lively, very accessible and quickly became our favorite part of Paris.
3,8 sur 5Marais is ideal location
mai 28, 2011
The Marais is an ideal location for someone not familiar with Paris. Several metro stations are close by, excellent restaurants are around any corner, shopping is great for any budget. A real neighborhood feel, and as safe as the website claims. The congenial host goes above and beyond to make your stay as good as it can be. The only problem with this location is the night-time noise from the street. It really doesn't get quiet until around 2:00 am. I know this is out of the owner's control, but if you are not used to big city noises, you should request one of the rooms away from the street - they are smaller, but you will definitely get a better night's sleep. If you do take a larger street-side room, you might want to bring earplugs to block out the noise. Maybe a small price to pay for being able to sit by the window and "people watch" during the day.
