    Luxe chambres avec en-suites, chaleureux, moderne, confortable, alpine Ski Chalet dans charmant village proche de Mont Blanc. Excellent petit déjeuner.Salle de TV pour le soir. Superbe ski, neige grand. 3 minutes en voiture de remontées mécaniques.Parking gratuit. Plus de 6 restaurants moins de 20 minutes au pieds pour le dîner. Une heure de voiture de l'aéroport de Genève. Propre ou voiture de location devrait avoir des pneus d'hiver ou de chaînes ou les deux en saison de ski. Ski ici ou nous servir comme base de ski Evasion Mont Blanc et les autres stations à proximité !

    Another wonderful stay with the Hopkinson family

    The hospitality, flexibility and welcome was once again the reason we have come back to Chalet Chovettaz for our 4 night break with no children. Beautiful views across the mountains, great breakfasts and always as much information available as you could require about the weather and area. Ewan and Ruth, March 2013

    Probably as good as it gets!

    Just returned from a 4 night B&B stay at the superb Chalet Chovettaz. The rooms, location, facilities and hosts are top notch! Our bedroom was beautifully furnished (as was the entire chalet), cosy and with a great balcony/views across the valley and to the mountains. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with hot options cooked to order. Most impressive/appreciated was the wealth of local knowledge on tap from both Fiona and Chris, the fantastic hosts, who really do pull out all the stops to make you feel at home. The slopes were just 3 minutes away by car/free bus with a wide variety of runs to suit all abilities and at no time feeling crowded, even during the French holidays. We had such a great time we are already pencilling in a return visit in the summer!

    Les Contamines - France Hidden Gem

    I have just come back from a a weekend staying at Chalet Chovettaz in Les Contamines and I could not recommend it more highly. Les Contamines is the perfect resort for a short break it is just over an hours drive from Geneva and that was in heavy snow. There is 120Km of very good and varied ski terrain which is more than enough to keep even the most advanced skiers entertained. For me though where Les Contamines really stood out was as an off piste heaven there was just so much off piste terrain available without having to hike meaning more time spent riding the powder. With this being a fairly small resort it also seemed that I was the only one riding this endless amount of powder because in Les Contamines you simply don't get mass tourism!..If the condition are good and you are heading off on a ski weekend you don't need to look much further than Les Contamines it is Chamonix without the Hassle! Chalet Chovettaz is a cracking little B&B set in beautiful surroundings Chris & Fiona the owners are an absolute delight and no request is to much hassle for them. Fiona was like a mum to me during my 3 nights there and was happy to provide with all the stuff that I forgot due to this being a last minute trip swim shorts, Sun Cream, Lipsalve, and toothpaste were among the items that I had left at home but Fiona always managed to find me what I needed. And what better way to end a day in the mountains than with a lovely cold glass of champagne in the warm and bubbly hot tub!
