The Kenwood Inn is a beautiful facility. We particularly liked the outdoor spaces, including the back courtyard with a koi pond, the swimming pool and the cozy porches. We stayed in the Captain's Suite and found the room to be very well equipped, roomy, quiet and private. Pat and the entire staff provided wonderful hospitality and could not have been more helpful in arranging day trips. The food was perfect and delicious and the location is convenient to many attractions and restaurants.

My husband and I were given the generous gift of a romantic weekend getaway to St. Augustine. The location of this B&B was great- in Old Town St. Augustine, but right near everything. We arrived very early to explore, but we were able to drop our bags and park in the near by parking. It took a while for someone to come help us when we first got there, and it was a little awkward waiting around for someone to approach us. After getting greeted and getting our orientation, we were given some recommendations for where to eat and went to explore and enjoy the oldest city. The staff were very nice and remembered who we were after our initial meeting. Our romance package included a horse drawn carriage ride, a bottle of champagne, breakfast in bed and chocolate covered strawberries. I had requests the champagne for the carriage ride (which was great!), but we never received it. The breakfast in bed was a sweet idea, but the food was cold and I think it would have been better if we had just gone down for the buffet. Chocolate covered strawberries were waiting for us in the fridge downstairs that night and they were delicious. They have a saltwater pool that was refreshing and relaxing. The breakfast our second morning was delicious. Checking out was simple, but a little awkward when it seemed to be forgotten that the weekend was a gift and we were almost charged. The Blue Porcelin Room was pretty and comfortable, with a fabulous shower, fire place and shared porch. Just a warning- no door to the bathroom, so be comfortable with whoever you're staying with! All in all it was a great trip and a lovely stay, but since I was told the price at check-out, I don't think I would have liked it as much if I paid for it myself!

Highly recommend the Kenwood Inn. The location is just perfect for checking out the town - either by walking or picking up one of the city trolleys nearby. Breakfast here was a treat - the hosts provided something different each day and all were excellent. Wonderfully relaxing as there is lots of room in the common areas to relax and enjoy sitting down with a good book in one of the interior rooms or outside on the front porch or back in the courtyard. We'll be back soon.

My husband and I felt right at home at the Kenwood Inn. The owner is lovely and gracious, and the staff is personable and helpful. Our breakfasts were served on the patio overlooking a lovely pond. Their presentation was beautiful, and the food delicious. We stayed three nights in the Blue Porcelain Room, which we found very comfortable. It was a treat to be served wine in the late afternoon and to enjoy a piece of cake, if we wished. Kenwood is located in the historic district, and we found it easy to access attractions and wonderful restaurants from there. All in all, a delightful place to stay; we would go again!

This is my second stay at this wonderful inn. I will always stay here when in historic St augustine. The hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail Pat (the owner) and her staff show you are second to none. They truly give you the red carpet feeling. Each room is unique and nicely decorated. Breakfasts are fabulous. It is always several courses of delicious food. There is wine served at happy hour and a great time to talk to other guests. I cannot say enough great things about this inn. In fact I love it so much I am holding my wedding here!

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in the Captain's Room at The Kenwood Inn. The innkeeper Pat welcomed us to the inn with a friendly smile and said goodbye to us with a hug. The breakfast is above and beyond what any one would expect and the table is plentiful. There are many patios, verandas, porches to relax on as well as a beautifully courtyarded pool. One of the highlights of our trip was taking a careless ride around St. Augustine's less busy streets and lake on the tandem bicycle the innkeeper provided. The only thing we regret is not being able to stay longer. -Kenn & Bea Jurgensen
