I stayed in this B&B when it was just opening, participated in a theme weekend of empowerment this summer. Though there were still some minor decorative reconstructions happening, it was clear that the place has come a long way from the original school it was built to be or the old people's rest home it was for a while. There was nothing institutional in the setting, it was all cosy and functional. I even wished that the internet had not been working to get a complete break from my day to day. But of course it did work, so I did keep in touch with the outside world.
The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. The B&B is in the middle of countryside, peaceful, with no noise, close to a huge forest, perfect for walks. The breakfast was tasty and good for you; fruit smoothies and organic eggs.... nham!
This Bed and Breakfast has the particularity of having both normal stays and some theme getaways - I saw silence retreats and cooking in the agenda for fall. Perfect setting for either of the two.
I had a very nice and relaxing weekend and am looking forward to a possibility to revisit!
