Run by Clare and Andrew Mallors Bay Tree Guest House provides the perfect place to relax unwind and instantly feel at home. The Mallors family will welcome you into their home and offer a friendly and personal service to make your visit to York as comfortable as possible. Bay Tree Guest House is situated in the vibrant area of Bishopthorpe Road and is an ideal based to explore the City of York and the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. Families are welcome at all times and a high chair and travel cot are available. All our bedrooms are en-suite and offer stylish accommodation with original Victorian features such as fireplaces cornices and sash windows. All rooms have a TV hairdryer hospitality tray radio/alarm clock free secure Wi-Fi access and a comprehensive guest information folder to help you make the most of your stay in York. Bay Tree Guest House is non-smoking throughout for your comfort. Free parking is available for guests on a quiet side road. Also located nearby within the city walls is Bay Tree self-catering a charming Victorian house which comfortably sleeps up to four guests. Situated within the quiet conservation area of Bishophill the house is within five minutes walk of the river Ouse and the many tourist attractions in York and can be let on a weekly basis commencing on a Friday or for shorter 3/4 night breaks during the quieter months. Decorated and equipped to a high standard with some quirky features the house has a double room and a twin room a luxury bathroom and plenty of storage space. Children are welcome at all times. On-street parking is free for one car outside the house.

      (Sainsburys supermarket on the right). We are 100m on the left ;A1 and the South/West|Road|12|Leave the A1 at the A64 and follow the signs for York for 12 miles. Take the second exit for York City Centre signposted A1036 and follow signs for the City Centre for approx. 1.5 miles. After passing the Marriott Hotel on your right take the first right turn into Knavesmire Road (tree-lined road towards the racecourse). Follow this road to the end around a couple of bends and over some speed bumps. At the end turn left and we are situated 500 metres on the right hand side.;
