    Built in 1861 the house in leafy Tunbridge Wells has never been as Victorian as it is now. So says Harold whose devotion to Victoriana knows no bounds. Deep colours rich velvets marble tables authentic wallpapers tasselled lamps portraits of Queen Victoria tea and scones by the fire… Be prepared to take a serious step back in time. Bedrooms are simple in comparison: ruched chintz in the ground-floor double damask in the twin below - and a door to the conservatory. Bathrooms have large mirrors and brand new fittings breakfast is a locally sourced spread. Those in search of heritage will marvel...
